Will this fit a 4 1/2 inch axe blade?

Mine fit very well..... disappointed the ad showed leather sheath I got blue nylon

Will this fit the Estwing 30 oz. Carpenters hatchet?

I don't know. I didn't buy this for Eastwing ax and what I found is that it's certainly big enough for hatchet. The only issue is that you have to modify the retainer strap to fit your ax.
