Thanks for the question! Our EVERYDAY-SUN bulbs are 800 Lumens. Lux is a measurement that depends on the size of the area that you are illuminating.

Do you need to stop using at a certain time of day

Thanks for the question! Under most circumstances, you would use these light therapy bulbs until late afternoon / early evening. The spectrum of these bulbs is designed to mimic sunshine and help keep you energized, so whatever time you want to start winding down for sleep would be the best time to switch these off.

Whats the difference between these and the Norb Smile bulbs?

Hi -- thanks for the question! NorbSMILE & NorbSMILE SOFT are our "flagship" full-spectrum LED bulbs. We use a unique, patented LED chip for a precise & consistent spectrum that very closely mimics the sun's spectrum. NorbEVERYDAY-SUN & EVERYDAY-SUN SOFT are similar, but the LED chip used is not quite as distinguished. The overall output of each wavelength of light is slightly lower than the NorbSMILE's, but still much higher than standard artificial lighting. It's our "budget-friendly" full-spectrum option. All products give off the same amount of light (800 lumens) and the same light therapy benefits, but we've heard from several customers that they really enjoy the quality of light from the original NorbSMILE. Through either option, you'll be getting the benefits of indoor sun-like lighting!

Best light bulbs ever?

I purchased these bulbs nearly two years ago and have used them almost daily since then. They are incredibly bright, which I appreciate, because the room I have them in gets no sunlight. This has been one of my best Amazon purchases. I thought they seemed a bit expensive, but they've lasted so long that they have totally been worth the investment. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a light bulb.

Great but Flickers

Love these lights. They are high quality but too expensive imo. They are really bright and help with mental clarity and mood. I really like them except they flicker in my dimmer switch when it’s not at the highest setting which is a bummer. So I can’t really dim them, and sometimes it’s just too bright depending on the time of day. But overall I recommend them if you want constant high brightness.
