Box is well made for a light weight box, arrived in perfect shape. Latches work nice and open from either side with no problem! Has two mounting slots and comes with foam pads for mounting, does not come with mounting bolts! Looks great in my 2014 F150

In the Q&A section I was asked about the color of the box verses silver on a dark truck. Here is my answer as well as my impression of this box. Yes, my black box looks great on a dark colored truck. Silver would not have looked right. I have a 5'5" short bed Ram 1500. The smaller width box works perfect for this short bed. With the tail gate down I can still haul my ATV. I want you to know this box is cheap. The locks are flimsy and will not secure your property. Most teenagers can break into it without using tools such as a crowbar. The metal used to build the box is thin. It will bend easily. I drilled holes in the lid and front of the box where the name plate is then bolted four 1/8" metal plates, inside and out. I then bolded a heavy duty latch. I hope this prevents thief. My recommendation, don't buy this box. Drop another hundred and buy something sturdy. Also if your wondering why I kept this box its because I was going on a two week hunting trip two days after receiving it. I ran out of time. Poor planning on my part.

I'm fairly disappointed in this toolbox. It came pre-dented. I realize that it probably happened during shipping and didn't leave the factory that way...at least I hope. I wasn't overly concerned about this because I'm sure it will see a lot worse before too long. It came pre-rusted. Several rust spots on the lid and the latch pins. Manufactured in February of this year, so it rusted pretty quick, either inside the factory or packaged up. So I don't know what the weather will do to it. Lid does not seal. The lid sits above the box about a half inch which will allow a ton of water spray to get inside the box. The latching pins are adjustable only that when you adjust them to where the lid seals, it won't latch. Horrible design and engineering job. The metal angle that holds the latch pins is held in place by a bolt. That bolt interferes with the latch mechanism when the pins are adjusted to their top most position. That top most position is where the pins need to be so the lid will seal. Guess I'll have to buy some of that foam seal for window AC units because the gap is that wide. On of the latch arms was bent and the lid would not latch and stay closed. It was easy enough to bend back into position with a pair of pliers but after everything else mentioned, I was losing my patience with it. I'm not returning it because it isn't worth the hassle. However, I would not buy another one from this company. I would purchase a better built one. ( pun intended ).

I bought this toolbox because I was running out of space under my seats and losing passenger space in the backseat area. It does the job for what it is intended, I wish it was made thicker and the top had more reinforcement to stand on with no problems. It easily bends and I can see warping it over time. Toolbox looks good, I like that it is black and not so eye-catching like the shiny chrome/stainless steel boxes. So far, no problems with the latching mechanisms, able to open from either driver or passenger side easily, same for closing. I am probably going to get more use out of this toolbox when I switch jobs at the end of the year and start working on residential renovations. More tools and equipment to carry. You will need to organize the space efficiently to carry what you will need to use and not just toss things inside haphazardly. Good toolbox, top needs reinforcing, latching is good.

This allows me to clear my bench seat and I like that. It has plenty of space for my tools lights and tie downs. The black color looks great. Glad I got this. 👍🏼

Tool Box look nice, very thin Aluminum the first one they shipped me I opened the package and it was bent in several places. I shipped it back and asked for a replacement then I cancelled the order the Aluminum is just to thin it would not take much to bend it,that mattered to me a lot. Nice looking Box but not durable!!!

the tool box is great fits perfect just a lil flimly on the side with the locks other then that its great love it fits my ram perfectly.
