Fantastic book for immunology
Janeway’s is one of the best immunology textbooks to use for learning immunology. If you are at the upper undergraduate/ graduate level, this textbook is comprehensive and easy to read! I do want to note, while there are differences, the textbook is very similar to the 9th edition. I personally prefer the 9th edition and find it to be of higher quality in spacing, and grammar. Broadly, I have noticed that there are some significant differences in Chapter’s 6, 8, and 9. Chapter 7 has changes in the figure legends and headings within figure images. Overall I think it’s a great book! If required for your classes, it is worth the purchase! I also find the online content to be very helpful! If you are interested in learning immunology independently, purchase the 9th edition at the more affordable price :)

This is a great summation of the immune system, presented in the context first of its natural function against infection, next in its aberrant activation in disease and finally how it can be leveraged and modulated to improve disease.
