I immediately found a replacement. I use it frequently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ YES *by K***Y on October 18, 2024* I LOVE it!! Works great but the bags could be more cost effective. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loud but works, requires full attention while operating *by A***R on April 15, 2023* The foodsaver machine vacuum's well when using the portable wand attachment to seal their reusable ziploc bags. It also works well sealing large and small width mason jar lids (sold separately, just like the ziploc bags). Get the gallon bags, they are 6" longer than a regular gallon bag and hold entire bushels of celery, etc. But, the machine is so loud I don't use it after 10pm so I don't wake others up. I did have a failure with the foodsaver 80oz plastic ridgid vacuum container after only 5 days. Foodsaver has very poor selection of ridgid containers and they are not very big. So I purchased instead the Fosa brand of vacuum containers along with their own vacuum wand (so it's a whole different vacuum system I'm using just for large ridgid containers which are great for delicate things like lettuce) and I love it!! Fosa sells VERY large containers if you want them (130+ oz's) which holds a lot of veggies, lettuce, celery, etc and keeps it all crisp and fresh like the day you bought them, without squashing them like a vacuum bag does. Things stay fresh for 2 weeks, sliced onions don't age or start growing, like they do otherwise in a regular container or bag. I'd go the Fosa route if you want ridgid containers to keep things like lettuce, cilantro, celery, etc fresh without squashing them.
