Big Joe Bean Refill, Polystyrene Beans for Bean Bags or Crafts, 75 Liters

We got one of these years ago for a granddaughter now 16 and she still uses it. So we bought 2 of the new style ones for our great grandkids this past Christmas and ordered an extra bag of the refill beans which you will need eventually. These Big Joe products are wonderful. Even the adults like them. I think as great grandparents we need them too! They are so comfortable!

This filling was just what we needed to bring life back to our foot rest, it now looks and feels much better. The recommend instructions were super helpful to minimize the mess while filling it. Also, the bag is huge! More than enough for our needs and now we have extra left for next time.

You need three people to help add these fill beans into a bean bag, in order to not get them everywhere. It was hard to get foam balls into the bean bag without getting quite a few all over the floor, even with cutting on the corner line where you are supposed to and with having tube and bean bag ready. Then it took about an hour to get the refill beans out of the bag and into the bean bag, even with us holding the bag up and shaking it while another person held the tube into the opening on the bean bag. It seemed with the static electricity the refill was stubborn to get out of the refill bag and into the bean bag. But it did eventually fill the bean bag well while being held correctly. It is good refill material and is extremely comfortable in the big Joe.

It's a messy job!!! The stuff works. But be prepared to clean up the beads after your project.

This was a moderately priced and easy way to refill a bean bag chair that had gotten too squishy. Definitely would shop around because there's more out there that are expensive. I wish these were a little cheaper. But I'm satisfied.

Perfect for refreshing ottoman poof. Our dog isn’t allowed on the furniture except for this ottoman. It’s his favorite place to be with family. After 2 years of sleeping on it, it became very deflated. The refill made it as good as new and he’s back up snuggled on his poof.

The product itself is great. It really puffed up my chairs and my sons enjoy it much more. Filling it wasn't too hard, although we had to do it outside. This leads me to the fact that the static electricity on these things is insane. They stick to EVERYTHING. The ground outside was stuck as well, and it really made it a pain to clean up. But, if you follow the instructions, it does limit it.

The product was great. Very lightweight and easy to handle and just two bags filled a large beanbag chair. So far - we've only been using it for 3 weeks or so - the stuffing is comfortable.

Volume, price and quality are tricky with bean-bag fillers. This product just about delivers. Not enough to top up our old Fat Boy, and certainly not enough for a whole chair, unless it's dog-size. And they feel like they will squish and not recover, like other reviewer said. Price seems to fluctuate a lot, so watch out. Overall, best of a bad bunch?
