ParkPower 15A, 20A, 30A & 50A Power Inlets

Nice quality plug for the back of the RV

I had a power surge take out the original power input for my camper. Luckily the only thing damaged was the power inlet itself. This is a great replacement and was easy to install. Unfortunately the strain relief was larger than my original, so I had to add a backing plate. It was not a big enough issue to take off a star, but did require a little more work than expected.

Works as described

Robust connection, keeps water and dirt out.

I could have given the device 5 stars, but in the end I didn't use it. My pop up came with a solar panel on the roof and inside roof lighting. Therefore wiring existed inside the roof and at the roof corner. Because of this a wiring "tunnel" was present in the canvas to hide and protect the wiring running from the roof into the electrical center in the body of the pop up. I didn't like the idea of having to plug and unplug the rooftop AC unit AND plug and unplug it into the electrical center hidden within a cabinet. So I used surface mounted wiring guides attached to the inside of the camper's roof from the AC unit's wiring to the point where the rooftop lighting and solar panel wiring went through the canvas "tunnel." I pushed the additional AC wiring through the same "tunnel" to the same electrical center in the pop up. I attached the appropriate plug, plugged the AC unit into the socket present. Now, the AC unit is permanently wired and I don't have to plug or unplug anything. The wiring goes up and down right long with the roof and solar wiring present all along! So, I never used or needed the 20A RV inlet plug.

Upgraded from the factory plastic to this plug. Needed new plug so I went all in on this and could not be happier. Love the twist and lock feature for the lid for a watertight seal. Also will accept twist and lock or conventional screw style power cord locking rings. Because of my boats curved hull I had to use black 4200 for a gasket instead of the rigid neoprene one that was included. A little masking tape for a clean wipe line and all came out looking good.

Good quality for a good price. Pretty easy install too. Can't go any bigger than #8 wire for sure.

Good replacement

Quality part. The cap is snug yet easy to open. Connecting the three wires couldn't be easier. Worked perfectly.

Arrived on time. Installed it in my boat to connect on board charger for trolling motor batteries Works great. Makes it easy to change batteries.

Shore power on a sailboat. No problem, exactly like the old one.
