Appears to be drying my horrific rash from the inside
I have spent over a week using ivarest, calamine, benadryl, and jewelweed and lye soaps. These offered very short-lived relief and overall my rash has continued to spread. I was having a strong and growing reaction that included lumpy swelling in my forearms that was visible from yards away, redness covering most of my forearms, and of course the classic ugly itchy vesicles with some areas starting to resemble second degree burns. The burned appearance followed and was probably due to the roughly 36 hours of relief I got from trying something I read online involving rinsing in very hot water, which actually stopped the itching longer than any of the topicals I tried. This product, for reasons that I really wish someone could explain and completely allude me, seems to be working from the inside out. I still feel VERY itchy A LOT of the time, especially right before the next dose is due. But physically, the vesicles and swelling disappeared by the second day and the redness is almost gone at the third day. I have had severe poison ivy rash before, and this is definitely a huge and accelerated improvement from anything I've experienced before. I will try to update in a few days. I REALLY hope I get to not be itchy again soon! Unfortunately, I am in a situation where I cannot completely 100% ensure no repeat contact with the plant. In fact, I am fairly certain I have had one or two other recent exposures to tools and objects that touched poison ivy. So I am both very allergic and subject to ongoing exposure risk despite many precautions--a pretty good test subject. (The urushiol oil can apparently survive for 5 years on surfaces and cause a reaction in tiny, tiny amounts, so I am assuming that anytime I see it or am in an area where it recently was I am at risk of exposure.) UPDATE Feb 2025 I still rely on this product and keep it on hand, but I have come to prefer the homeopathic liquid drops that are a mix of multiple things, not just rhus tox. I do a lot of brush clearing and gardening in a variety of settings throughout the year, usually at a rushed pace. Especially in spring, it is easy to get exposed to a root or something my tool touches that doesn't even have leaves yet and then not have time to shower until the evening. Maybe sometimes it's poison oak and that's why the blended products work better for me. Bottom line on this and similar products for me--it is an essential tool if you are exposed but it is always better to avoid exposure if possible. I have multiple periods each year where I am itchy or a bit red, but I no longer have the huge ugly reactions that spiral out of control, thanks to homeopathic remedies like this one.

It works for me
I tried this since I was out of options. It takes about half a day to a day to start working. The itching pretty much became tolerable. The the poison ivy rash started clearing up a few days later. I still applied a topical ointment. It has been about 6 days and the poison ivy is just about gone. I still take the little round pills and dissolve them in my mouth. I will continue till the rash is completely gone. It is important to take them till it is gone. The little pills are sweet and it takes 1 to 5 minutes to dissolve.

I Now Can Cuddle with My Cats After They Play in Poison Ivy!
I did not write my review until I had used this for several months. I have used homeopathic remedies over the years and seen some miraculous things with our pets as well as ourselves, but this one is hands down the best remedy I have ever used. First of all, I never got poison ivy as a child even though we camped and even our horses ate it. When I was in my thirties, I got it for the first time when I was actually pulling it out on out property in concern that my daughter might get it even if my husband and I didn't...well, I just never had it until then. After that I began getting itchy rashes and blisters every summer from my cats! They love the woods but they never tell me when they have been playing in the poison ivy. After I got it again in the spring of this year (2016), I found this product. The most convincing review was the one about how their family had been using it for three generations. I have been taking two pills in the morning and had not gotten any rashes, until....we had a family emergency and I kind of did not take them for week and then only a couple of days the next week. Then I noticed a couple of blisters on my wrist and rashes about the size of dime close to them on my inner arm as well as on the left side of my neck where my cat loves to cuddle. Even though I knew this was poison ivy, it did not itch...not even a little! I made sure to take the pills after that and the blisters and the rash on the neck were gone in a day or two, while the rash on my inner arm took about a week to completely disappear. Again, I had absolutely no itching nor swelling like I normally do. Who knows how many times I was exposed when I took it regularly, but even when I did not, it still worked for reducing the symptoms very well. I recommend it to everyone I know.

These work very well
I found these when my father told me about them. Years ago, my mother used to get poison ivy very badly from touching my father's jeans after he walked through the woods. Dad got her a bottle of poison ivy extract pills from the local pharmacy (I don't know the brand they purchased). The rash went away and she didn't get another rash for 2 years! I got a pretty bad rash recently, so I decided to look them up. I have never seen them in stores and nothing came up when I searched the words "poison ivy extract". I just figured that the makers of poison ivy treatments somehow got them off the market when they heard how well they worked. I finally found these and began taking them about a week and a half ago. After about 4 days, my poison ivy itch subsided considerably. After around 5 days, I could see a difference in the appearance of the blisters. Now, the rash is almost gone entirely. The pills really work! Seeing the other reviews, it sounds like the pills mom took worked best, being that she probably didn't take them everyday after her rash went away (she is funny about taking anything, even vitamins) and she still didn't get a rash for 2 years. Maybe they work differently for different people or maybe, years ago, they used to be stronger. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I will definitely try some of this brands other remedies.

Can't tell if it even did anything
My husband is very allergic to poison ivy. So we were told to give these a try. We can't tell that it did anything. No difference in how his body was dealing with it. Actually no. I'll change that. It made him itchier for the first two days off and on. Like a tingling. He ended up just going back to his regular routine.

Miracle Pills!
I have absolutely no clue how this works...but it does! I get poison ivy 1-2 times a year, and it's usually pretty bad. When I know or assume I've been in it, I wash with Technu scrub and do my best to make sure all my clothing and skin is thoroughly washed. Anyway, this was my second time getting poison ivy within a few months, so decided to look for an alternative to nip it in the bud quickly -- low and behold came across Be Gone and figured I'd give a go. So glad I did! I'm usually blistering pretty good within a week, which then oozes for another week. With Be Gone, I started taking a couple days before oozing -- the rash blistered, but never to the point that it has where my entire face swells up. The second picture is after 1 week putting those little pills under my tongue and it had nearly cleared up. I've recommended this to several others after I had such great success. Not sure what's in it, but it did the trick for my poison ivy and easily saved 1-2 weeks of being miserable.
