We don't have a big space in our living room for a kotatsu table, so had pretty specific requirements - this table met them all handily. Not too big, but big enough for two to dine at? Check - this is around 90x50cm. Portable? Check - the folding legs made it easy to put away when we needed to free up the living room space. Solid? Very - no wobble, flexing or any other signs of instability whatsoever. Warm? Yep - with a blanket set up and the heater on, our legs are nice and toasty in all of a couple of minutes. Add in the fact that it looks good to boot, and suffice to say we're very satisfied with our purchase. It's not the cheapest, but you can feel the quality throughout the build. Where I live, power is supplied at 240V so I purchased a 1000W step-down transformer, and it works flawlessly with the heater so all good there. Definitely recommended!

I love this table! It is very warm and all my friends LOVE using it when they come over, it’s made my apartment the hangout spot! It looks great when it’s not in use too, when I take the blanket out it looks like a stylish coffee table. I like that the cord can easily be unplugged from the heater so that you’d never know it was a kotatsu when it’s unplugged. Also, it folds super easily for transport! If you’re looking for a kotatsu in the U.S. this is the perfect one to get. The only thing I will say to be aware of is the oak color is different from the pictures on here. I was already aware of that from other reviews and it does not bother me. If you’re in the U.S. make sure you get a step down transformer from 120V to 100V. Lovely product, very well made! I have a small basement apartment right now, and this kotatsu table is a perfect place to work, study, or just keep warm! It's a lovely place to work puzzles or have a small meal with a friend as well. The wood and hardware are incredibly sold (I really appreciate the thick metal hinge-and-latch assembly that allows the unit to fold-- no risk that thing's gonna slip!) and the heater is very warm but not so much that you'll burn. I highly recommend getting an Azumaya kotatsu blanket (rectangle shape) to go with this, ours is brown and so so cozy! It is also NOT a good idea to get this product without the voltage converter-- the company recommends one from VCT, the 1000 watt version. I KNOW this sounds like a lot, but trust me they have a good reason. It's not safe to use something with a heating element (such as a heater, a toaster, a rice cooker, or a hairdryer) without having a converter rated for at least 3 times the wattage of the heating element. This table has a 100 volt / 300 watt heating unit, so 1000 watts IS the appropriate and safe wattage for a converter. If you plan on buying any other Japanese products that have heating elements, you might want to factor this in to your selection to make sure you buy a converter with high enough wattage for everything you will be using it for! Ultimately an amazing, quality product. I suspect it will remain my primary coffee table, even when I eventually move into a larger space that could handle a larger, non-folding product. I am grateful for such a wonderful experience!

I could easily sew on this table, that's how sturdy it is. I just wish it didn't have a 45lbs weight limit on it. If you live in the USA buy a step down converter because you need one. It's meant for Japanese voltage which is not USA voltage. You'll short it out if you don't. Heater works great, turns off when it feels its too warm, turns on when too cold. The heater gave off a bit of a plasticky smell at first, don't be alarmed, it'll go away.

So, so happy to have finally bought a kotatsu. It's a beautiful piece of furniture. If you've been thinking about it, go ahead and get one. It's the perfect size for one person, but three guests can enjoy it without too much trouble. The heater itself is textured with a soft lining which is an excellent detail. The step-down power converter I had to buy separately was a little scary to figure out at first, but I haven't had any issues with it over the past few months. Also I love the fact that the power cord is completely removable, so I don't have to have a table with a plug dangling from it through the summer months. One thing to note: if you are using thicker floor cushions with it, it might be a bit of a tight fit between the cushion, your legs, and the heater itself.

Had this for a few years now, great quality, easy to use. I love the herringbone wood pattern, I would def buy this again! I also loves that it folds down. The comforters are so expensive with it so I just use a king sized blanket with it and it works well.

The kotatsu seems pretty sturdy and was easy to set up. The voltage transformers on Amazon didn’t seem to be very good, but I was able to find a 1000W one on eBay for about $60. This kotatsu can sit two people under it fairly comfortable. The dogs and cats also like to join underneath whenever the heater is on. When it’s not winter, I take the futon off and just use it as a small coffee table.

家に猫が4匹いるので、留守中に電源をいれなくても猫の体温で暖かさをキープできるような、キャットハウスの代わりになるサイズのコタツを探してみつけました。 可愛いしおしゃれです。コタツで寝るタイプの人には向いていません。向こう側から足がはみ出ます。 小さいのですぐに暖かくなります。設定温度は最弱でもほぼ直火なので経済的です。 ウォールナットだから丈夫ですが、サイズの割には重いです。 レビューでシングルサイズの布団がコタツ布団として流用できると書いている方がいて、試してみたらその通り！洗いやすい毛布を二枚かけて使っています。 しかし猫のことばかり考えて人間のことを忘れていました。猫が2匹入ると人間が足を入れるスペースはありません。

ホワイトの色合いも気に入り、一人暮らしの狭い部屋ですがうちにぴったりのサイズでちょうどいいです。 冬もそろそろ終わりますがこたつ布団なしで使用しても違和感なく使えると思います。 脚も簡単に折って収納出来ますが、元々あったテーブルはガラステーブルで重たいし処分してこちらのテーブルだけ使用しようかと思っています。

Very nice quality. Solid build, strong hinges, and a beautiful pattern. I expected it to look more artificial, but the grain pattern is very nice, I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like it was built with care. Very happy I chose this table.

オークを購入しました。 お手頃な値段のこたつは天板の木目がザ・プリント という感じのつるつるで安っぽく見えるものばかりで、いろんなこたつを見比べていたところ こちらのコタツに出会いました(^^) 口コミで、同じようなものを求めていた方が評価していて とても良い評価だったので思い切って購入しました！ 思った以上にかわいかったです 色のあたたかみもあって形もかわいい！ 家が狭いので丁度良いサイズもとてもありがたいです(^^)お値段以上のお買い物でよかったです！

見た目はこたつ机っぽくなく、おしゃれでとても良いです。 8月に購入したのですが、金具にカビが生えていました。 確認してからしてから出荷はしていないのでしょうか。 化粧貼りも剥がれやすく残念でした。
