Works perfectly and great for the price. Can't complain.

The remote shutter release works great. It is very basic but does the job. A word of warning though. When your batteries get low it will start doing crazy stuff. Continually releasing the shutter and all kinds of stuff. Just be aware of this and realize your batteries need to be replaced and nothing is wrong with the remote. Use this all the time for light painting and macro photography and am really happy.

A bit lighter construction than expected but, to be fair, quality probably about right for the very reasonable price. Simple to set up on my Olympus OM-1 (mk 1). Worked first time - when I remembered to check that both transmitter and receiver were switched to “On”! Single shot and burst mode work well. The connecting cable fits my OM-1 but Canon users may need one with a Canon camera end. Not familiar with Nikon so can’t comment. Only used for short range practice in good weather but see no reason why it shouldn’t work equally well in the field. Not sure how waterproof the on-camera receiver would be, however.

Bought to photograph birds in my garden with my Nikon D3200. Easy to use and has good range.

It worked well only the day I received it. I tried to used it a month later and the receiver doesn’t stop shooting. I connected it to my camera and fire nonstop. Such a wasted money.

The release arrived and was unpacked, the supplied batteries were installed and then we are ready to go, well not quite. I am using the release on a Panasonic Lumix G7 and when I pressed to make a single frame exposure the camera went straight to video mode and would not switch off! The afternoon was spent interrogating the instruction books for the camera and the release, Google got a look in too but there was no solution offered. I went through the camera menus and noticed a control to switch off the video button. Once done the remote and camera were shooting away for fun. The remote could be little delicate in build quality but I am now very pleased.
