2370 Tactical LED Flashlight (Black)

Built like a tank. Love the ability to switch from white to red to green with a dial. Would def recommend.

This is hands down the best light I own. I use flashlights a lot in my line of work, so I would venture to say I have a respectable knowledge on the subject. I typically use a Surefire light with a red filter attached to accomplish my tasks, and that has always worked great for me. However, as of late I have been interested in a quality light that has an integrated red l.e.d. So naturally, my first thought was the Surefire Aviator. I just couldn't fork over the funds for one of them, and liked the idea of the mode programmability on this Pelican.Everything about this light is of high quality. The fit and finish is top notch, and the light has a heft to it that signals a sturdy build quality. While you can't tell the "beefiness" of the internal electronics by feeling the weight, it's evident that a high level of care went into their construction. The l.e.d.'s on my model are all perfectly aligned and perfectly centered within their reflectors, without a spec of dust or single blemish on the reflector. This is something that even more expensive lights fail to accomplish, and a sign that Pelican cares about the overall quality of their product.I am using this light with Panasonic Eneloop batteries and they work great. They give me "guilt free" lumens being that they are rechargeable, and offer a long run time. Another advantage is I don't have to worry about the dreaded alkaline leak ruining my light. However, if I find myself in a less than ideal situation, AA batteries can be readily found all around the world, and several other pieces of my kit (nav. equipment etc) already call for either AA or AAA batteries so they're always around.I apologize for the lengthy review, I just wanted to convey my happiness with my purchase and hope I could help make up someone's mind who may be on the fence about purchasing one.

I'm a professional stage hand who works in a number of environments. I go through a lot of flashlights.Pros: Lightweight, but very durable. Bright, focused beam. Red is perfect for low-light situations, green is nice for signaling without using a full beam.Cons: Battery life is somewhat lackluster, but AAs are cheap.For consideration:Reprogrammable, so you can change what pressing the buttons once vs twice does and so forth. I like mine to be the less-bright beam on the first click, the lighter beam on the second.Red and Green LEDs are located on the sides of the reflector, so the colored beams are somewhat offset. This is easy to index with the pocket clip and the branding bezel.The green LED is not for low light situations. Use for signaling.

Great flashlight. I have a Pelican headlamp which is also great. My only gripe on this is the programming mode. partially press the button 14 times to get the mode I want, seriously? And the manual fails to mention on the last press you need to hold to get the confirmation flashes. This took forever to get figured out the first time. Also, somehow, a stray half press or two ends you back up on Program 1 (not the 8 presses per manual). Sorry, this sucks. There are 4 programs. You shouldn't need 14 presses for anything. Should be like press twice and hold to get into programming mode, then press the number of times for program, 1-4. Half presses actually work to momentarily turns on the flashlight (good), so you don't have to utter a non-tactical click if you don't want, but it should not reprogram your settings. Rant over. Nice piece of hardware, just not the best thought through programming.

I've had this light for several months now, and I love it. There's nothing much I can say against it. I only wish it had a focusing beam, but that has not been much of an issue for me. I love the three different light modes. Just FYI, the high, low, and strobe modes don't work on the red and green lighting. The battery life has been good, though I have not had it on for very long periods. I love the feel, it feels tough and durable, which is what I was hoping for. I would definitely buy another one!

This is a nice light weight light with decent illumination. It has three choices of LED colors (white, green and red). Runs on two AA batteries and Energizer Lithium work great. Program a little. Challenging to program but overall a wonderful light, versatile and lightweight. Highly recommended if it meets your illumination needs. Really like this light.

This is how the flashlight was delivered to me today. Broken box. Corrosion where the battery goes. Battery already in the flashlight. Damage to the flashlight. Really disappointed with the entire item.

This light was purchased for camping and I just returned from a trip over Memorial Day Weekend. Usually my flashlights are uncomfortable to wear all day and this light is light and comfortable, so I didn't have to remove it during the day.Switching colors is very easy using the dial near the bezel and switching modes from low to high to strobe is just as easy using the power button. Even on low, the brightness was sufficient. This is a great light and well worth the money.My only wish is that the green and red lights could be changed from low to high. I guess it would be nice if the red light would strobe.

This seems like a very robust flashlight. I just got it so time will tell.I love the magnetic switch to set the light color. I need to know it will be red light before I turn it on and this allows that to happen. It is a little bigger than I was hoping. Switching between bright, dimmed, and the strobe is not easy, but since I basically just want red and bright white that is no big deal to me.Edit:Used it a few times since originally posting. Still love it.

Very bright only downside is the battery life
