Amazon Basics Rectangular Foldable Laundry Basket Hamper, Beige/Brown

I had to say goodbye to a a hamper I was using for a little while and the handle, which was sewn on, detached while I was lifting it up into the cart I used to transport it to the laundry room. But I like the look of this one much better and it stands up on its own. I just put one of the two hospital laundry bags I’ve been using for years now inside and used the drawstring to hold it in place around the hamper and then when it’s full, I will take the bag out and put that inside my cart rather than putting the hamper itself through too much by picking it up and putting it in my cart. This seems like it will hold at least two loads of laundry, which is all I need it to hold because I will only wash two loads each week. It does look nice on the outside and inside. It’s a cream color on the outside with gold handles that look as though they would be able to handle moving the hamper into my cart if I wanted to, but I just don’t want to risk anything happening to my new hamper at this time, so I will stick with my plan. The inside is a dark brown which has a bottom plate that is removable and I think the material can easily be wiped down, both the bottom plate piece and the walls of the hamper. I did just receive this item yesterday, so time will tell, but it appears to have more stability and I like the look of it visually more than the hamper I replaced, which just collapsed when it wasn’t full of clothes and easily fell over with my clothes inside when it was full.

Excellent quality well worth the $20, foldable, compact, folds flat, easy to fold and unfold. I'm not using it for laundry but instead I'm using it to be capable of bring two bags of groceries into my apartment with my mobility scooter at one time, on the shopping bag stacked on top of the second heavier shopping bag in my ability scooter basket with the sides of the second bag on top being supported by the laundry foldable basket

They're holding up alright but the metal clips that make up the handles always fall out. They're pretty cheaply connected; something that can be improved on.

Large. Sturdy. Attractive. Easy to pick up & move. Use it for recycling.

I bought this back in January of 2018 for less than $10 after tax! Can not believe it’s almost double the price now in 2025. It’s still going strong and use daily for dirty clothes. Lugged up and down 2 flights of stairs. Only thing that has gone wrong with it is one of the metal handles fell off, however this does not affect the use of the product.

It may be odd to love a hamper, but I love this one. It has a small footprint with sides straight up and down, so it takes little space. It holds more than I thought it would, which is great. The hamper folds flat to take almost no space when not in use, and it keeps its form when in use. The hamper doesn't have any holes for ventilation, which is something I don’t like. But I don't count this against the hamper because it's so simple to buy mesh laundry bags for a few dollars (IKEA sells the perfect size, and with a metal frame, they stand up inside) and they fit perfectly inside the hamper and can be easily snatched up for super convenience and even more lightweight transfer to the laundry room, not that the hamper is heavy. It's not. The problem I've had with the mesh bags alone is that, when very full, they bulge out at sides. With this hamper, they can't do that. Also, I tend to get holes in the mesh bags when they don't have extra protection around them, and this hamper prevents that problem. Even if you can't find the mesh laundry bags with the metal frame, it's easy to use a plain mesh bag and simply secure it to the handles on each side of the hamper. This product is a clever design that takes little space, does its job well, and doesn't start to smell. For smells, it certainly helps that the top is wide open, making it easy to drop items in it. I bought this on a lightning deal for $11.99, and it's definitely worth it. Add on: Amazon sells cotton bags that fit these hampers to make it easy to grab the bag and take it to the laundry. But I still prefer the mesh bags.

I started buying items says Amazon Basic these days. I don't know these are made by Amazon or not, but these items are always better than my expectations on both price and quality. This laundry bag is also super nice. Color, durability, price, size...totally satisfied. Updated after 1 year use. Handles were taken off.-both side. The box itself was made with hard board paper and covered by cloth fabric. - all four top corner were Bent. Fungus and mold inside and outside of box. - You can't put any wet material at all. such as the towel used after shower. I will buy something else like plastic basket with holes. It is the first item I disappointed from Amazon Basic.

Very pleased with this....was hesitant about purchasing a foldable basket but as it was from the Amazon basics range I thought I'd give it a try. Firstly - it's exceptional quality for money and secondly it looks a lot more expensive. It's approx 35.5cm square and just over 58cm high and holds a decent amount of laundry. It's sturdy and doesn't collapse and is very well made.The neutral colour scheme is current and has a nice linen look finish. My only comment is that if it's not placed in a closet or wardrobe, out of sight, then, because it has no cover, your dirty laundry is on display for everyone to see.While the display picture shows a fluffy white towel draped over the edge, am sure that 99% of peoples laundry baskets don't simply just contain fluffy white towels....dirty socks, bedding and underwear are far less appealing I'm afraid

Compré este cesto para ponerlo dentro del armario porque buscaba algo que se viera más bonito y estético que los típicos cestos de plástico, sobre todo por las medidas y el espacio que tenía disponible. Quería uno de tela, pero me preocupaba que fuera de esos que se deforman o se vencen enseguida, y este la verdad es que cumple muy bien. Se mantiene firme por sí solo incluso vacío y eso era justo lo que necesitaba. Tiene buena estructura, no se cae hacia los lados y da sensación de bastante más calidad de la que esperaba para el precio. Además, visualmente queda muy limpio y discreto. El color y el diseño sencillo hacen que se integre súper bien dentro del armario sin verse desordenado ni llamar demasiado la atención. La capacidad también está muy bien porque entra bastante ropa sin ocupar demasiado espacio. Las asas son prácticas para moverlo y el material, aunque es ligero, se siente resistente. Como punto menos positivo, al venir doblado puede tener alguna marca al principio, pero con el uso termina asentándose bien. En general, me parece una compra muy recomendable si buscas un cesto de tela que se vea bonito pero que al mismo tiempo sea estable y resistente.
