I got this ahead of my bisalp earlier this month, and it was great! I put it in my hospital bag to use on the seatbelt on the ride home, and then pretty much carried it around 24/7 for the first couple of days like a security blanket haha. I didn't have much pain actually, but having the pillow there reminded me to take it easy, and kept my cats off my lap to protect the incisions; I credit it with helping me have a seamless recovery! I also used it in my car when I started driving again until I got the all clear at my post-op, more for extra padding just in case I ever had to slam on my breaks or got into an accident. Luckily, neither happened! But if they had, my incisions would've been well protected. The straps were easy to use and it was very easy to attach to the seatbelt, and it fit well across my lap so I could still drive. I was a little worried about the texture, because I have sensory and texture issues and often what other people consider "soft" makes me want to rip my skin off (I can't do microfiber at all!). But I was pleasantly surprised, it was soft but not irritating and I didn't have a problem tolerating it.

Great for after hysterectomy surgery. Although my incisions were higher up due to me having an Ostomy, this still worked great. It's soft, comfortable and easy to install. Because of my Ostomy I'm actually going to continue using this.

I had a hysterectomy and finding this pillow has been a life saver. I got reusable hot / cold packs. I love the added pouch for the hot pack. Helps to soothe my pain. I haven't started driving but I know it will protect me from the bumps.

Bought gray. Looks like listing photos. Material is cozy like a soft warm blanket. Attached to seatbelt easily. Did not work for me personally. I had Robo hysterectomy that left 5 incisions around belly button height. The top of the pillow pressed right on my incisions which did not feel good. Couldn't use it and it turned out my seatbelt in normal use didn't touch most of my incisions anyway. Waste of money for me but that will depend on the location/type of surgery you have.
