Hello. I use light sand in shape tape. Which color will work for me?

Surprised to see the "manufacturer" recommend #4 Beige because that shade is WAYYY darker than Light Sand in Shape Tape. The closest match you'd probably get would be to mix #2 Light with #3 Vanilla. Although Light Sand is the best shade for me in the Shape Tape line, I personally find it to be a little too brightening, so #3 Vanilla has worked well for me in this concealer. The undertone is a little pinker than I'd like, but I make it work.

Why do different shades cost more? The fair is much more than the light?
