I had some trouble getting it to pair initially, but got it to pair without having to contact support, and it hasn’t had any trouble auto-pairing since. It is a very slim profile, but I cannot use it and my grip case at the same time BECAUSE it fits so flush to the Switch. There may be some grip cases out there where this is not the case; if yours is completely uncovered at the bottom, then this would work. Mine, the grip case does clip over part of the bottom (ButterFox grip available on Amazon) so I have to pop it off to use this adapter. Just be aware your Switch may have to be naked. I don’t experience any noticeable latency, but I have only used it with Apple AirPod Pros. Do make sure that you are buying the adapter model FOR YOUR SWITCH MODEL. I have noticed people saying they had to shave plastic off to make it fit into their Lite, or conversely that it was too small for their Switch. There are two sizes, folks! There is a model that fits only the Switch LITE, and it comes in three colors to match the three Lite colors. Then there is a bigger one for the regular Switch that comes in several colors. Don’t order strictly on color preference, make sure you also have the right model to accommodate your pick. I bought the gray Switch Lite adapter for my gray Switch Lite and it fits perfectly, no shoving or shaving required. As it is, although I was raging out for about an hour attempting the initial pairing, since then it has worked perfectly and I will absolutely buy this again when I add a full-size Switch to my collection. Why Nintendo couldn’t shell out a little more to license Bluetooth capability is classic Nintendo, always behind the times. But since they didn’t, it’s awesome that this product exists.

I could tell right away that I was going to be very happy with this purchase. When your unboxing a new purchase you can normally get a good idea of the quality if the product based on materials used for packing. This product was packed very well. This was the easiest set up for any blue tooth device I have ever used. I read the instructions, plugged the device into my switch and it connect as soon as I turned on my ear buds, just like instructions said it would. Its not normal that I don't have to go back to the directions at least one time while setting anything up. That was the case this time. I plugged it in, turned on my wireless ear buds and it connect to them right away. No problems no hassle. It literly took longer to get the package out of my mail box then it did to set it up. I really like how you can connect to 2 diffrent Bluetooth devices. Thought it was cool that it comes in so many diffrent color combinations. I have not used the attachment to use it when my switch is in the cradle yet. This feature will be used often for me while I am playing in bed and my wife us asleep next to me. It was just as easy to connect a second pair of ear buds to the divice as it was to connect the first pair. This is going to come in handy with my children. I have connect two diffrent blue tooth headphones so far. I used my Samsung Galaxy ear buds. I also connected to a pair of ear buds called Black Widow I think. Connected at the same time the sound quality was just as good as if it was coming from my Samsung Note 10+ so I am very happy with the sound as well. Will definitely be looking for this company in my future purchases. Very happy with there product. Best thing I bought off Amazon all month lol. I am a happy switch user right now!!!!😄😄😄

I love this thing. It has a very small profile so it's perfect to fit in a case with it connected to the switch. The audio quality is good, and is also dependent on the headphones or bluetooth speaker you're planning to use. So if you hear shitty quality, it may be your speaker itself. The ability to connect 2 things at once is very veerrrry useful if you and another person have bluetooth headsets and wanna watch either hulu or youtube on your switch. I will say this about it, the connecting portion is a bit hard to get a first; mainly due to how bluetooth stuff works and there isn't an actual display or anything that shows you whats connected. Also there is a bit of latency, however this is not due to the product itself but due to bluetooth technology, so there's nothing you can really do about it. Also if you keep your switch in your jacket pocket (or any pocket that is big enough), make sure the dongle is in the pocket and not kinda hanging on the side... You'll know what I mean if you try it... Since the dongle itself is low profile, there's a chance that the fabric can get caught in between the switch and dongle, and pop off the dongle. I love this product so much that when I lost my first one I bought due to the thing that I warned above, that I bought 2 more. One of my PC to use with my bluetooth speakers, and another for my switch. Definitely think about getting this product if you're considering going wireless for your switch, you won't be disappointed.

I originally bought this because my son likes to play Fortnite and talk while playing. I read reviews and seen that this could plug into the switch itself or the charging dock. I didn’t realize that you had to use headphones with it. I thought you could attach it to the switch and talk/hear without headphones. Luckily I bought my son wireless headphones for Christmas or he wouldn’t have been able to use this because once you plug it in, there’s no sound without headphones. I do like that it wasn’t too expensive and the quality is pretty decent. It is absolutely compatible with the switch, and takes seconds to connect. You can use any Bluetooth headphones with these and can even connect 2 different headphones as once. It is nice to have, just wish I would have known that you isn’t just a regular microphone. However I’m happy with this purchase. I would recommend. Eventually I’ll look into getting a different microphone to use without headphones but for now we are okay using it with the Bluetooth headphones. Also came with very clear instructions which made it a breeze to setup/learn about the different modes. Like the versatility of being able to plug it into the switch itself and/or the tv/charging dock.

When I got the Nintendo Switch, I was quite bummed to know that I wouldn't be able to use my BT headphones and needed to patch in via cable. It's not a huge deal, but it was rather an inconvenience. So I found this adapter, which came highly recommended from some connections. After about a week of usage, I couldn't be happier with the product. It was very easy to connect to my headphones, the sound is great, no noticeable lag and it comes with some extra accessories I didn't see myself using until I had them. The instructions that came with the box was pretty straightforward, simply plug in the device, power on your switch, push and hold a button and pair! Included with the box came a travel pouch (very convenient), a microphone that plugs into the headphone port for voice chat capability and a USB adapter for when you want to use your headphones while the Switch is docked. Now some things I would point out comes down to the type of headphones you have, and making sure you do your research. In order to reduce the amount of audio lag, you'll want to make sure that your headphones are aptX or aptX LL capable. If not, then you'll experience some really bad lag. I used this product on three separate headphones and two of them have aptX codecs, so they worked perfectly fine. The third pair of headphones did not have aptX and the lag was definitely noticeable. So if you have older headphones, chances are they are not aptX capable. Outside of BT technology limitations, the only "actual" negative about the product that I could find is that I couldn't use the kickstand on the Switch when this was plugged in. Sometimes I like to lay on the floor with the Joy Con Grip to play games, but you'll need to prop it against something.......not a big issue but I could see others running to this as well, especially those that travel on airplanes. Overall, for only $40 it's a great solution to something Nintendo should've included from the start and I'm very happy with the results. I highly recommend this adapter for anyone wanting a wireless solution for their Switch.

Now I won't lie, I honestly wasn't expecting much when it came to the Homespot Bluetooth adapter for the Switch. But what I got was way better than I could ever imagine. The audio quality is so clear and crisp to the point of superseding the Switch's native output. My positive notes - Although the device is small, it comes with a good quality pouch that not only holds the adapter with its USB accessory, it can also hold a few lose Switch games - It is super easy to use and connect - The adapter comes with an option to sign up for a 6-month warranty - The adapter output is very similar in quality to Dolby Atmos (large open-world games such as Skyrim and The Legend of Zelda showcases this the best.) - Even though my headphones are not Bluetooth headphones are not BT 5.0, the audio quality is still incredible My nit-picky issues - The adapter may be small, but it is incompatible with stander Switch cases - When the adapter is plugged in, it is impossible to charge the Switch (in or outside of the dock) - If the switch is placed in sleep mode, the adapter will shut off and disconnect any device - the USB-C plug itself feels a bit insecure (but that may just be me or my Switch) Although they did not have a color option that matches my Blue/ Neon Yellow joy-con controllers, I still highly recommend this adapter. It has a good build quality, the audio output is incredible, and the price is just right for what you get. The only other thing I would recommend (for those looking for the absolute best) is that you pick up a pair of noise reduction headphones in order to fully take advantage of the Homespot aptX future.

it was very user friendly and connected to my air pods immediately. I also used it on my PC and it worked just as well. You get the occasional skip in sound but its not a big deal. probably slightly over priced but it is the best model around. I only gave 4 stars because I've owned them for 2 days so i dont know how they hold up as time goes on. *UPDATE* I have had this product for a week. They are very convenient dont get me wrong, but they kind of suck. Every time I push pause for more then 5 minutes, i have to reconnent them. that really annoys me. Def not worth 30 dollars. If it were 15 then I would have given it 5 stars but 30 for a product that doesnt work efficiently is 3.

The Home spot transmitter works as intended as a Nintendo Switch Bluetooth audio transmitter with no noticable delay and almost flawless audio quality with ATPX LL SUPPORTED DEVICES. The device I use with the HomeSpot is the Fiio BTR3 Bluetooth receiver which support atpx ll and can be connected to any audio device with a aux jack. To test the dual streaming feature of the HomeSpot, I used the previously mentioned Fiio BTR3 and then a Trond BT-DUO which also supports atpx ll and have them plugged to my V-moda m100 headphone to each earcups, the result is that both receivers were noticably in sync of each other and the Fiio BTR3 indicated that it was streaming in atpx ll. This test shows that the HomeSpot can truly stream dual low latency audio to both devices but with slightly more pops and crackles in the audio. The package comes with a small felt patted pouch, headphone jack mic for games that supports in-game chat, a nice metal usbc to usba adapter for the Dock and the HomeSpot itself. The HomeSpot device is well built with no visible screws and gaps in the plastic construction and in my opinion the best design in the market. I also like the device can be reversed to hide the led, the only feature that this doesn't have is pass through charging which I think is a necessary sacrifice for it's slim build. My unit does have a defect were the left button is not as clicky as the right and can sometimes get stuck in the pressed position but it doesn't bother me much. So far the HomeSpot is a solid device for audio streaming for the Nintendo switch if you want a compact design.

This product blew my mind. If you're on the fence, just grab it. It allows you to connect up to 2 pairs of audio devices, and it works beautifully with my wireless earbuds (they only take up 1 of the 2 connections!). The wow-factor lies is in its tight and compact form, as well as how it can be used with other devices with a USB A/USB C port. I for example, currently have it plugged into my laptop, and it sits nice and flush against the edge, barely protruding more than the nano receiver for my mouse. Essentially, buy this, and you can easily set up a dual headphone/earbud combo enabling you to cleanly share the device audio with a friend. Definitely recommended. (Yes, my laptop has bluetooth, but it's definitely way quicker to just plug in the adapter and push the button to pair extra audio devices.)

I mostly play my Switch docked in the living room and I'm so happy I made this purchase. I can finally play in peace and it's really easy to set up. It's kinda expensive but maybe because of the tech in it+adapter, but it's seamless. I don't notice any lag. I only use it with my AirPods and they work great. You just press the button on your case to sync them initially when it blinks. After that it should connect automatically (if not just press the left button again). You can use your phone to check the battery of your AirPods. The only thing I don't like (or maybe I just don't know how) is to change the volume when playing docked. You will need to get up to your Switch do so if you're using a TV (a gaming monitor you'd obviously be close to so it won't be an issue).

Das Gerät lässt sich ganz einfach anstecken, wird sehr schnell von der Nintendo Switch erkannt und die Kopfhörer lassen sich auch ganz einfach koppeln. Super Produkt, ich kann es empfehlen die über Bluetoothkopfhörer oder Bluethoothautsprecher den Sound genießen wollen.
