Best boroscope I've ever bought!
Every other horoscope refuses to focus beyond a few centimeters. The Ferret Plus focuses at any length. I needed to see two feet down a wall to see where an energized piece of Romex wire was coming from. Not a problem. Worth every penny!!! Only "issue" is that it is approximately the same size as a roll of quarters, so it's not gonna fit into a spark plug hole, but that's what the other horoscopes are good for. This will let you see pretty much to infinity around corners and down walls and HVAC ducts!

Great camera
So, This item is great. You can connect 2 phones at a time. So if one person is in the attic/Crawl space or just trying to see something, It works great both can go to there phones and see. The visibility is great you can auto/manual focus so that makes it convenient for use. I'm a electrician so tricky fishes and investigation this is great So, all over a great product.

More fun than it should be!
I love this thing. It’s like putting a camera on a mouse running around in the walls. In conduit, in walls, in otherwise impossible spaces to run cable or find issues, this is best little tool. Best tool I’ve purchased in a long time.

Very useful tool! Use the right charger though!
I've been using this to aid in my inspections of boilers, and it has proven itself invaluable. One thing I found out the hard way is to ONLY use USB A to C cords, it will not take a charge on a C to C cord. One star down for that, but only that.

It's okay
Works pretty well video doesn't stream to the phone very well. It's glitchy but works. For chimney inspections you will want a holder for the camera to help center it

Nice little unit.
Easy to use which very intuitive interface. Had some issue with WiFi connection where I needed to restart the app a few times before the image was attained. The NCVT feature is a bit hit or miss. It did not detect at the wall plate outlet but did detect a power cord plugged into a wall outlet.

Best tool I have purchased in years
This is perfect for Home Inspectors. Easy to use. I use with iPad. I have a 5' and 30' pole and get great photos with both.

Very quick delivery. Had also assistance, for some details, from Ferret Tools Some technical information I could not found elsewhere : the internal memory is almost 8 Gb; resolution of 1080p if recording only into the internal memory (the settings of the app do not show this option but only 720p and 360p). Horizontal angle of view 70°. It fits into a pipe with diameter of 3.6 cm, but it is better to consider to use in bigger holes because the adaptor to attach probably make it a little more wider. The screwing system into the black part is not perfectly parallel to the axis of the FerretPlus and the adaptor when screwed into plunges down toward the lid to port and the switch making difficult to unscrew it. Also the smooth surface of the adaptors and the fact they are not coaxial make very difficult to unscrew them from the FerretPlus. At present day I made only test before to use out in the field (boreholes and small caves) Camera still in a place, Wifi connected to the smartphone at a distance of 2m, autofocus on, light off. It stay on for 55 minutes before to have low battery. It recorded 6 files of almost 300Mb each +1 of 30Mb for a total of 3,3 Gb Each video is 5 minutes long with dimensions 1920x1080, Extension .mp4 Quality of the video seems good. Good also the switch from auto-focus and manual-focus available from the smartphone

The Ferret Plus is an outstanding inspection camera. It’s compact, easy to use, and perfect for getting into tight or awkward spaces where you simply can’t see otherwise. The wireless connection works smoothly, and the video quality is excellent — clear 720p streaming with the option to save in 1080p onboard. Battery life is great, and it recharges quickly. I’ve already used it for checking behind walls, inside vents, and under floorboards — it’s been a real time-saver. The build feels solid and professional, and the WiFi connection has been stable every time. A brilliant piece of kit for electrical work, HVAC checks, or home maintenance. Worth every penny.

Bit bigger than I expected and the design with the rod thread means it gets stuck on every stud or snag inside the wall. Lost it in the wall on the first inspection. If I bought another one I’d get the Lite that’s moved the rod thread to the rear centre of the cylinder. Still, not a bad tool, just more difficult to use than it needs to be.

First impression is that it's pretty decently built, a quality tool. Then you download the app - and it's instantly clear it's utter rubbish. It's like going back to the 2000s, composed of multiple badly scaled images to fit a screen size/resolution they didn't test on. And then it didn't work anyway - just beeping at me when I try to start live view or take a photo, with no image shown or recorded. Even if it did work, this thing is chunky, there's not many jobs it would actually be useful for in my opinion - certainly no good for the cable I was trying to fish today. And it doesn't even come with any rods or anything, those pictured are all 'sold separately', for the price you'd really think it'd be a big kit. I also bought a cheap 'endoscope' style (many similar variants on Amazon) - literally £11 - and it's so much better. Not better value, just all round better, despite costing about 1/20th the price of the Ferret: no ad hoc WiFi to faff around with, no silly permissions required (access all my photos, record my microphone? I just want to see the live image), it actually *works* (!), so much smaller (roughly 5p vs £2+20p on side) and comes with 5m semi-rigid cable and similar end accessories (mirror, magnet, hook, etc.). Much cheaper, *and* much better! Save your money, save your time, just get one of the slim no-brand cheapy ones. Or for this price you could get an articulating one - cable included *and* much more functional than this rubbish.
