Q: You say it can be used for spare change, my question is how do you get the spare change out? Do you have to remove the unit and turn it over?

Unfortunately yes ! So I don’t use it for that

It's just one. Has two spaces to fit two cell phones. But each space is a bit tight for a cell phone. So I slid out the middle spacer and replaced it with a piece of clear plastic, which is thinner than the spacer provided. Now my phone and my passengers phone fit well and are easy to put in and take out.

Q: What is the length of the cell phone section?

It not that big , but it fits iPhone 12 Pro without problem .
