My new favorite clay!
This clay is sooooo forgiving! As a newbie, I really appreciate that, and almost everything I throw with this clay turns out nicely. The only “problem” is because this has grog, it will tear your hands apart if you let them touch and stay on the wheel head. Try to not do that, and it really is the perfect clay. If they could clone this clay into a lighter color, it would be even better! The photo shows what it looks like freshly thrown. I haven’t fired any of my pieces with this yet, so don’t have a photo showing the final product. The challenge will now be to find a glaze that will complement the buff color it will fire to.

Speckles come out beautifully in firing
This clay is my favorite. When it is RAW it is pink. With an 06 bisque and a cone 6 glaze firing it turns a beautiful earthy tan color with brownish black speckles! Highly recommend for wheel work. When

this clay is PINK and has NO speckles
I expected buff speckled clay and got a pink clay with no speckles. I lost a commission because of it.

NOT speckled as advertised
Speckled Clay has become hard to find locally so I ordered this online. I was so disappointed once I fired this clay - it was completely devoid of specks. Will return if I can but certainly will not buy again.

I love the clay but Amazon sells it for double the price. My friend got 25 lbs of the same clay for 20 at Aardvark
