Very sturdy and heavy, fun to use to hide money or treat. Easy to set. Hand to friend with a clue and let them dig for the code. i.e. I used it to give daughter, age 30, some cash at Easter. Question was who was only apostle to miss the last supper? Easy to reset for other answers. Elegant box but handle the box gently. (Answer is Thomas)

I LOVE THIS THING!!! When it came, I was shocked at how heavy the box was. It only got more exciting from there—the product is shipped in a gold magnetic box, as well as custom shaped foam. The cryptex itself is beautiful to look at, and the lettering is a cool font and easy to read. The dials turn easily, and the instructions explain how to change the code on the cryptex, so it's fairly easy to operate. Once you open it, there's even a few surprises already inside! Opening this felt like an adventure in and of itself, and the puzzle aspect is entertaining, giving a mysterious, Da Vinci code adventure vibe. This was well worth the price, and is something I can use for years to come. It leaves a bit of a metallic smell on your hands, but nothing washing them won't fix. It makes for a great experience!

I bought this to give my son money for his bday. He had to guess the pw. He was thrilled 😆 it was easy to setup a new secret word. But the cap to hold where the screw to close it up fell off when he was trying to guess, I might not have tied too much. Otherwise, it’s a fun gift specially for 12 year olds

Nice, heavy duty puzzle coffer. It will break or dent your floor if dropped - it is that substantial. It is easy to put your own code once it is open. I have no lock picking experience, so not sure how hard it would be to break open. A small compartment inside, I added a rolled up scroll, a necklace and a little money. My kids are going to do a scavenger hunt to discover the code. I'm excited for them to do it. Comes with 2 sizes of rings and a necklace you could put the rings on.

I was surprised at how nice this puzzle box is. I was a bit worried when I ordered it. I was afraid it would look and feel cheap. I WAS WRONG! This puzzle box is impressive. It is heavy, it’s pretty, the tumblers twist nice, the cylinder opens nice. The inside was big enough to add cash for an added surprise. The instructions on how to change the code seemed to be written simply enough that I’m pretty sure I could do it with no problem. I didn’t try. I left the original code in it Not only is the puzzle box impressive, the gift box it comes in is also very nice. It has one of the magnetic lids, the inside holds the gift nicely. Very nicely done all the way around. I recommend thiis puzzle box. Thank you. My grandson was the recipient of this gift. He told me the puzzle box is”bussin”. Then he called me a goat! (Greatest of all Time). I would say he is very happy with the gift. Lol

Outstanding. Truly. It’s high quality, heavy metal, easy to use/change the passcode, works as it should. I bought it to hold the grand prize at the end of a Nancy Drew detective scavenger hunt for my daughter’s birthday and I could not be happier with it. She said it was her favorite part!

This was such a great idea for a Christmas gift for all of our adult children. We used it by giving them a clue from their childhood to give them a walk down memory lane, such fun! We couldn't believe how heavy they were and so well made. They came well packaged with good instructions to set the code. It comes with a hanger so they can enjoy as decor after. Everyone thought they were a wonderful unique and well crafted gift.

I think they're cool. They feel heavy and look mysterious, like an ancient puzzle. The metal coils could spin a little smoother, but that's a small complaint. Bought them for my grandsons, making them puzzle out the passwords I set for them to find the money inside. They liked them, but my 11 year old said he could see right away how to get into it without the code. Just remove the screws! But that isn't fair.
