With its unique design and functionality, Schaller has been setting the standard in strap locks for decades. In 2018, Schaller paves the way for the next generation of revolutionary strap locks. Schaller proudly presents: The new S-Locks, S for save, S for silent and S for Schaller strap locks. These new revolutionary S-Locks are silent. They feature one-piece hardened steel strap buttons, aesthetic design, perfect handling, an elegant Lock-Wheel and all former hiccups have been tackled. 3 pieces = 1 S-Lock - perfect. Strap button New and unique solid one-piece strap button in hardened steel with self-tapping wood thread. Simply screw it on with an Allen key (size 3 mm). New Lock-Wheel with unique 3-Step security function: 1. Screw the lock wheel with patented self-locking thread tool-free by hand, you already protect your guitar sufficiently (the round shaping must be facing the pull-up ball). 2. Use a 2 mm or 5/64’’ Allen key or screwdriver to tighten it for maximum security. 3. Use the micro cone-top screw to attach it permanently. You will never lose your wheel again. Finally put all parts together and just listen carefully…Give it a shake, give it a roll and prepare to be amazed: It is silent. New silent feature for noiseless performance while moving and playing your instruments. All S-Locks come in a new and attractive reusable crystal box. Two more things … 1. S-Locks are fully compatible with all existing Schaller Security Locks. 2. Only one strap and one pair of S-Locks, …for all your guitars. Enjoy all the benefits of the new S-Locks using one single strap. Simply use the new strap buttons replacement kits to new S-Locks for all your instruments. Review: Best straplock system ever. - This is the best straplock system in existence. It's easy to install, safe and looks great. Has no sharp edges or uncomfortable shapes. I've installed Schaller straplocks on almost all my guitars since forever and have always been happy with them. Recently I bought a Fender American Professional Stratocaster and the store threw in a set of Fender straplocks that are a copy of the previous Schaller model at no cost. They are crap. Hard to pull in and out, they keep getting loose from the strap. They look exactly like the previous Schaller model that I bought for all of my guitars up til 10 years ago (didn't buy any other guitar til now). They might look the part but they aren't the same product. So I got them off and upgraded to the real thing, yo my surprise Schaller has upgraded their set, and the upgrades are great, they are now easier to install and with even better shape so nothing will damage your guitar. Functionality is great as always. I don't thing I've ever had to use lubricant or sealer on a Schaller straplock system, withy the other thing I had to use some wd-40 in a week because it was stuck and you just couldn't take the strap off the guitar, and then it all started falling apart and I had to use some sealer on some parts (that didn't get wd-40'ed). This is a great product very well worth the price. The original-recipe 80's 90's version were great but as they wore on though the years they became difficult to work. Often requiring extra attention to click on and also slide off. These redesigned Schaller's are so smooth and easy to click on that I forget about the $30 price tag. Schaller also made the unlock knob bigger and easy to grab so sliding off is more comfortable. As always they feel super solid. The new locks do fit on the old buttons some of my guitars still have, though the new strap buttons have a beefier integrated screw that is an interesting addition that I like. The plating is top-notch! ## Frequently Bought Together - Schaller S Locks Guitar Strap Locks and Buttons (Pair) Chrome - Levy's Leathers 3" Wide Amped Leather Series Guitar Strap with Foam Padding and Garment Leather Backing; Black (M26PD-BLK) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.mx/products/382523564-schaller-s-locks-guitar-strap-locks-and-buttons-pair-chrome](https://www.desertcart.mx/products/382523564-schaller-s-locks-guitar-strap-locks-and-buttons-pair-chrome) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mexico* *Store origin: MX* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
