This is a an entertaining book with great pictures for any young baseball fan. I really enjoyed reading with my son as well. Full of fun pictures and interesting facts. Nice job SI! Would highly recommend the football version as well.

My 8 yr old grandson got this book at the library and fell in love with it. He and his father nearly had it memorized from cover to cover by the time they had to return it. So I bought 1 for him and 1 for my 8 yr old nephew for Christmas, they both were thrilled with it. The age range is perfect for anyone able to read, all the way up to grandpa, as long as they like baseball trivia.

We gave this to our 7 year old son for Christmas as his "something to read". He LOVES baseball and has really enjoyed this oversized book. It was a great way for him to learn more about the history of his favorite sport, and it put a little baseball in his life to tide him over until the season starts in the spring. I will say that Hubby and I have read it too. :) Lots of interesting facts and info.

We got this for our 5 year old baseball fanatic and I ended up enjoying it just as much as he did. The pictures are awesome and facts are interesting. It is a book that is worth every penny and then some!

I got this book for my 9 year old son who is a baseball player and loves reading about the sport. He has read the book multiple times and carries it with him everywhere. He has even won several trivia contests at baseball camp because of the facts he has memorized from this book. The only issue is that I wish it had a stronger binding -- the cover has completely ripped off the book, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. Though I would much rather get a well loved book than one that will sit on the shelf unread!

When I bought this for my 6 year old nephew he was all about numbers in sports, keeping track of stats, etc. He LOVED this top ten list. I gave it to him as a Christmas present and he spent the rest of the holiday sharing tidbits from the lists. Great for the numbers and sports-loving kid.

Bought this book for some children in my second grade classroom. The kids literally LOVE this book. Filled with so many great photographs and facts. It is well used in my classroom.

Purchased for grandson. He loves it. Sports fanatic particularly the statistical side of it. Loves to challenge us for answers. Highly recommend it for adults as well. Lots of info we didn't know.
