Derma E Firming DMAE Moisturizer - Copper Peptides, Resveratrol & Kakadu Plum - Supports Collagen and Elastin Health– Vegan Facial Skin Care, 2oz

I have been using this moisturizer for approximately a month now, along with the face wash, serum, and eye cream in the same line. The cream is luxurious and a little more on the thicker side so you don't need very much at all. It spreads easily across your entire face and neck. So start with a small amount. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this does come with a lavender scent, that is fairly strong, but it does not bother my skin or cause any breakouts whatsoever. The smell does not linger either it does go away after a few minutes. This is absolutely a great value for your buck, the entire line is fairly priced in my opinion. And it actually works, I do see some lifting and skin tightening going on, after having lost a significant amount of weight. I have been struggling to find beauty products that actually work and help with the lifting and tightening, and this is doing the trick. I am just over the moon. You do of course, as with anything, have to be consistent. Also, I would recommend to use this as a night cream rather than a day cream. As it is a bit more heavy and keeps your face moisturized for a super long time. I do not use it under makeup I use a lighter cream in the mornings and then this at night, and then as the final step I use my roc night time serum capsules to seal it all in. That's just how I prefer to do it. I absolutely recommend the moisturizer.

I am 65 with red hair,and sensitive skin. . I have normal skin not oily or dry . I’ve been using this for many years and am still happy with it. I its my daily moisturizer. It’s really great after sun exposure. Takes the red out overnight. I like the texture. It’s a smooth cream and absorbs evenly and quickly.

The ingredients were what compelled me to make the purchase; Copper peptides, Resveretrol and Kakadu plum ( do a quick Google for benefits!! ) There are products out there for 5x the cost that contain the same ,yet they are frequently in the middle or towards the end of the ingredient panel. I use this with the Copper Peptides serum ((blue liquid) as well as the new- ish retinol serum ( red bottle) also containing a holy grail of actives. Very little scent, excellent absorption and results were seen in a couple of days when I combined all 3 products. I was seeing results after a couple of weeks with the peptides but once I added the retinol it was a matter of days. I am currently researching their vitamin c products as there are several . Give this a try ! Impressive anti aging products!!

This is a story of LOVE and HATE! I used this for a very long time up until about 9 months ago when I switched to a retinol cream. I decided to re-order to switch up my routine and the first time I put it on (on a washed and toned face) I remembered how much I loved this. It quickly absorbs into the skin, has minimal (if any) odor and leaves a firm and tight feel to the skin. LOVE!! I went about my morning routine (coffee, made the bed, checked the news) and then I began to (tried to) put on makeup. Ah, now I recall why I HATE this moisturizer! Well, hate may be an overstatement, but why I can not use this during the day. The box swears it is good under makeup. I am mystified as to how they can make this claim. I tried to spot conceal and everything just pilled off. I tried bb cream over it and that too was patchy and began to pill once I began to rub it in. I even tried mineral powder for redness around my nose and that pulled away from my skin as soon as I touched my face. So - LOVE for perfect-skin days and night use, but definitely DO NOT recommend for any sort of beneath-makeup use - HATE it for that reason.

I’m an octogenarian and this product is amazing! Because I spent the first forty years of my life basking in the sun, I’ve had multiple MOHS surgery on my face. After using this moisturizer, my scars are literally invisible. It is magic!

This is a mixed review. I've used "Derma-e Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Alpha Lipoic Acid and C-Ester" AND and ordered it from Amazon for several years and I love it--5 stars! Goes on nicely under makeup and I receive compliments on my complexion. I have sensitive skin and I've been so loyal to this product. However, today's 1-star rating is due to instead receiving "Derma-e Ultra Life Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Copper Peptides and Resveratrol, Kakadu Plum." I don't take any copper supplements (that's a whole other subject) so the 'copper peptides' ingredient would entail some research. I've never heard of this particular Derma-e product. After no luck with Amazon's robot, I talked with a real person who was quite nice. I'll receive a credit on my account in about a week, and even though I offered to return the unopened box if it was postage-paid, he said there was no need to return it. My purchase page states this is an Amazon's Choice product, sold and shipped by Amazon. If I'm feelin' lucky, perhaps I'll order again from a different seller... but for now I'm back to square one. Incidentally, I searched for Derma-e TONER with DMAE, alpha lipoic acid and C-ester to order along with the moisturizer, and it doesn't appear to be available anymore at least on Amazon. A shame. Update on 11 March 2022: Well, I gave it a try--the wrong moisturizer sent to me--since I was told to keep the jar. I have sensitive skin and while I didn't get a reaction, this product appears to be drying, not moisturizing. Update 25 April 2022: Derma e's customer service verified that indeed, Firming DMAE Moisturizer - Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Moisturizer has been discontinued and has the copper peptide product instead. So, the trio I bought for years--moisturizer, facial wash, and toner is no more. I'm looking for another product/company now.

Smooth texture and moisturizes

It has good moisturizing effects and its good value for the price. However, two stars off because it's so heavily scented. For my taste: way too much perfume in this product.

This really helps keep the little bumps/skin thickening under control. I ran out for a while and stopped using this and really noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. Happily, as soon as I got more the texture of my skin smoothed out again. When you first use it, it may sting a bit. Saying I love this cream would be an understatement. It has less chemicals than most creams, doesn't make my skin even more red and lasts for a really long time.
