If you buy these, they work great dispite the video on the store page.
These cables saved my bacon. Not because my cables aren't long enough on the contrary there a foot longer then I need. No...... Where they saved me is that cause my case has a recessed motherboard tray to the cases back wall and the motherboard I bought has the 90 degree plugs meant that my cases front panel plugs were to thick to plug in. With these extensions having a female end that's super tiny and minimalistic I was able to plug the extension in and then use my plugs again and so too my front panel USB ports again. :-)

A bit long but works well
Some case and motherboard design combos put a great deal of stress on where you plug in, this has a small profile and is flexible enough to make the connection easy and mitigate potential damage in what was an almost impossible situation before.

Fixed my issue
Used in a pc with the graphics card covering the USB 3 connector, I was able to plug this in and have the graphics card installed

It worked for what I needed. For about a week. Then I started having issues with USB drives disappearing. The connection to the MB is so loose that it unplugs itself. There was plenty of slack in the cable to it wasn't under any stress. Its just a little too loose. Would have been an easy 5 stars but for that.

Worked like a charm.
Worked perfect for my needs. Had to relocate the bulky plug off the motherboard, since it was preventing me from side intake mounting a 360mm Corsair aio in a lian li 011 Dynamic (o.g. version). Zero issues with the coming loose at connector concerns. Takes moderate tugging for them to break free. In all honesty though, even if that was the case I'd probably just wrap some electrical tape around the connectors and call it a day simply because it solved my issue so easily. Its not like this pc is moved ever outside of cleaning it.

Sturdy and secure. Solved my problem.
Built a new pc on a 10 year old PC ATX case. Apparently these USB 3.0 plugs are now sideways rather than facing up on the motherboard, was surprised when I couldn't plug in my case's USB 3.0 plug. This adapter did the trick, looks sturdy too.

I needed this so I could connect the front-side USB headers from my case to my motherboard. My video card extended over the motherboard connector and this adapter worked great to have a right-angled ribbon cable connected to my motherboard and then plug my case front-side USB connector to the socket on the ribbon cable. The socket was a bit loose so I used some tape to be sure things stay connected. Once it was all put together it worked great!

Small form factor build, and my CPU cooler's radiator and fan were blocking the front panel USB header on my motherboard. This extension is very low profile, allowing the wire to bend immediately out of the header, solving my clearance issue. Multiple reports of it being loose gave me pause while ordering, but it seems to fit perfectly snugly (as any other connector) into my Gigabyte motherboard. I've just installed and not yet long term tested, but USB devices show up, and I will update if I have any problems.

Used to move large rigid US-B3 cable header from the edge of motherboards to behind the board and out of the way. The USB3 plugs and cables are very heavily built, so often come unplugged or put board header at risk from clumsy users (aka; me). The two flat cables on this product which make up the extension are the same length, so bend unevenly (not a design choice, a requirement for bidirectional use) but splitting them into sets of two make them much more flexible for 180 degree bends. DO NOT USE a sharp edge to split pairs, do it with your fingers or/and a matchstick or small Phillip head screwdriver as a leaver.

I was upgrading my husband's computer to include a much beefier video card, and the multiple fans and their enclosure on it made plugging the large molded plastic plug for the front USB ports impossible. Ordered this and it was low enough profile to sneak in under the fan enclosure and gave him the use of those front USB ports back.

Fits, but does not lock/clip in, so you can't even look at it or it will move. Impossible to even try to make work.
