I am hooked on the Pilot Dr Grip 4+1 pen. Having piles of refills really helps. I take a notebook almost everywhere and write notes constantly. The .7 mm is perfect. But I run out of ink often while writing. So having refills in my backpak is very convenient. It almost never smudges.

Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 multi-Function Ball point pen and refills are excellent equipment for writing. The flow of ink is superb. I like writing with these.

I do a lot of annotation and explanatory diagrams, and have got myself in the habit of carrying and using 4+1 multicolor pens. The Dr. Grip body is my favorite on the market (and at this point I've tried 7 different options), and the Pilot refills are my second favorite. The Uni Style Fit system offers the second best body, and my favorite of the refills. Fortunately, the two are compatible with each other's refills. As much as I like the Uni Style Fit refills, these are substantially cheaper and longer lasting, and slightly less prone to smearing, but they give a little more drag when writing, and the colors aren't quite as vibrant. I've alternated on which I use. These are certainly fine to keep an Dr. Grip 4+1 in action.

Two of the refills in my Dr. Grip 4+1 finally petered out, and I decided to get the 3 pack of refills since it was a better value. The refills I received were genuine and fresh (dated April 2023 on the refills) and worked great.

An excellent refill. It works with Pilot's Dr. Grip Multi-pen and Uni Ball's Jetstream multi-pen.

I have a couple of Pilot 4+1 multi pens and bought these refills due to my experience with other multi-pens. The refills don't last long - partly because of the skinny size and partly because they are rarely filled more than halfway (low ink volume). I typically get a month's use (two at most) out of any multi-pen refill. These surprised me, however. I've been going so long on the original Pilot refills that I forgot how long I've been using them. It has been at least 6-8 months of daily use. That's exceptional to me.
