This product is easy to use and was a game charger for me. My Christmas bows turned out beautifully this year. However, for the price, I was expecting the product to be more of a heavier, solid plastic. But this did not affect the way the product worked in anyway. I recommend the Bowdabra!

My first job at 16 was for a florist. I know how to make pretty bows. Now I'm 66, and saw an outstanding bow online recently. I immediately wanted to know how. Found a few YouTube videos that showed how without this item, but one lady said it is easier to make with her Bowdabra... It's a small investment that gives you that third hand and allows multiple ribbons of various sizes while relieving stress on my fingers. Comes with a tutorial DVD, an instruction sheet, and the Bowdabra. It's a nice size for making bows big or small, and the quality seems durable. I'm planning on gifting one to my daughter for Christmas.

Haven’t used the bow maker as yet. It is a recommended brand for a lot of crafters. Hopefully this bow maker will step up my game with making bows for my wreath business. I can make bows by hand however it takes me FOREVER and usually have to do them over a few times to get them just right. The maker will also relieve the stress on my hands when making multiple wreaths in one day. Now I do think the price is too high but it seems ALL makers are on the expensive side. One thing I additionally have to add in the box was a CD rom for instructions on how to use the bow maker. A CD Rom?!! Really? So outdated!! Who has CD compartments now a days on their computers. Everything is available through downloads. That instructional tool definitely needs an upgrade.

I had high hopes but it's just so so for me. It does work. But, I can say it didn't save me a lot of time. I can make the bows by hand just as quickly. It doesn't seem to be very durable either. This seems like a toy so I am going to give it to my grand daughter. She will love it.

Do not hesitate! I bought this since we needed to make about 75 bows for church decor and this was a breeze! We know how to make bows, but this little tool is a powerhouse, plus for those of us with aging hands and some arthritic conditions, this was NO STRESS on hands! I'm not sure why people wrote reviews about the instructions being confusing--we thought it was all very straightforward and easy as it had written instructions and also photos to show--we thought easy 1-2-3 and it really was. We got the combo so we also made 60-70 little bows for table decor and loved the booklet/instructions that showed different bow styles--very helpful!
