I paid a little extra to get the case, which is nicely satisfactory. I didn't like the manual which I downloaded from their site. Other suppliers have better ones which I'd recommend. This simple, comparatively inexpensive meter has many testing functions, LCR, DIODE, TRANSISTOR, LEDS, ZENER, REMOTE IR DECODE spring to mind. It won't do everything, but excels for its capabilities and value for money. I bought it mainly to test capacitors, especially electrolytics. It's going to be my Christmas present, but I had to test it first didn't I? and it appears to give excellent results. Can't wait for the 25th!

I use this primarily for reading resistor values and I have to say it works perfectly! The quality of the item is great and it gives accurate readings with no issues at all. Simply place the resistor in, close the clamps and it reads away, really easy!

The device itself works well as far as I can tell, it helped me sort through a mass of resistors in no time. It didn't come with any instructions, though, had to go searching online for some. The supplied cables do feel thin and flimsy - not sure how long they'll last.

It is insanely useful, throw a transistor at it and it’ll give you the pin out, the type and the gain. It showed my multimeter has an input impedance of 11.4 million ohms instead of 10 million, that’s important to me as I am using a 1000 meg ohm high voltage probe and my readings will be 15% out, ( I validated it by bringing out an old high sensitivity 100,000 ohm per volt multimeter into play that just about moved its needle and showed it was indeed above 10 meg ohms). Capacitors read fine except for tantalum types that throw an error or read way too high. Overall this device is a must have on your bench.

I'm most impressed with this considering the price. I got it mainly to measure capacitor ESR; I can't check the values it shows, but they're plausible. It also does a good job with other components I've tried. The supplied test leads are a bit of a joke, so I'll probably drill the case and fit some 4mm sockets.

Worked OK, but it's very finicky to use due to timing out so quickly. Sadly, it failed without an apparent reason after 2-3 months. Completely dead. And I didn't cause it e.g. by forgetting to discharge a capacitor. Not recommended, there are better kits out there.

Heute angekommen mit folgenden Teilen getestet. Brücke, Widerstand, NPN, PNP, Diode, Z-Diode, LED, LDR. LED wird natürlich nur als Diode und LDR als Widerstand erkannt ansonsten passt es. Beim letzten Bauteil einer Spule ... Das L in LCR stimmt leider nur bedingt. bei kleineren Induktivitäten wird nur ein Durchgangswiderstand gemessen. Erst bei ca. 0.01 mH/0.1 Ohm war die Messung erfolgreich. Wer also häufig mit kleinen Induktivitäten arbeitet ist mit diesem Einfachen Gerät nicht gut bedient. Alles andere funktioniert wirklich gut.
