Better then expected! We'll worth the money, great features on it like the magnet and the choice between using chargeable batery or batteries.

Absolutely fantastic. I had been using an old Streamlight Trident for a decade and this blows it out of the water in terms of brightness, distance and runtime. The adjustable beam diffusion is great and without the dreaded dark spot in the middle like the old Maglites. This is about as bright on it's lowest setting as my old Trident is on its highest setting. I was a a bit hesitant to make the jump to rechargeable since before I could always throw some more AAAs in when it started running low but it has never been an issue. I never need the brightest settings, so I can use this all day and into the night without skipping a beat. I have used this almost daily for about a year now in hot attics. dirty crawlspaces and out in the rain and except for the strap it is no worse for the wear. The only thing I don't like about it is the weight, specifically when lying on your back. It's not so heavy as to be tiring, but it is extremely frustrating to be lying on your back working something above you and have your light keep falling off your head. Even when the straps are cinched tightly, this light is heavy enough that is wants to slip off when hanging upside down. My old Trident which used a plastic body and was noticeably lighter was much less prone to slipping off. Very impressed with Coast though, and will consider them first if I decide to get something smaller as a complement.

This is a reasonably priced fantastic, bright, quality headlamp. I have always had led lenser in the past. I couldn't afford one with the specs I required so I purchased this. It has fantastic light output. The battery has amazing longevity before requiring charge. The charging system is convenient, usb c. It comes with an alkaline battery adaptor for when it isn't possible to recharge. The headlamp is comfortable and comes with a lifetime warranty. This is the best purchase I have made in years. I totally recommend it for anyone who requires a great quality, high lumen, comfortable, versatile, affordable headlamp. Truly, you can't go wrong. And you won't be disappointed.
