I've been using BCW products for 30+ years and they never disappoint. When I go to comic cons I usually carry a backpack with all my con-going essentials in it. I usually have a designated pocket or spot where I can keep comics I'm getting signed. That way they're not in too much danger of getting damaged during the course of a day in crowded convention halls. As I started getting more expensive things signed and paying more for signatures, I decided I needed something more robust to protect them. BCW to the rescue! I found this stor-folio and it was perfect. It's sturdy enough that I'm not worried about my comics getting damaged, but light enough that I barely notice a difference. (Remember that 30+ year statement at the beginning of this review? Yeah, I'm no spring chicken anymore.) Its big enough to easily fit plenty of comics to get signed during a day at the con. If you need more than one or two of these to carry all the stuff you're getting signed, I sure hope im not stuck in line behind you. The clear cover on the outside is nice so you can personalize it, or even label them if you want to store comics in them for more than just travel/con use. If it were made by anybody other than BCW I'd be concerned about that clear layer coming off, but if their previous track record is any indication you'd have to abuse it pretty hard for that to happen. I also like that the way the "lid" opens, feels like it'd make it hard to open the wrong way and spill all the contents out, and the magnet keeps it shut tiggt the rest of the time. This one is sized for raw (ungraded) comics, so I'm fairly certain slabs won't fit, though haven't actually tried it since that's not what I want it for anyhow. I wouldn't be surprised if BCW has one for slabbed comics too though, if that's what youre looking for. Overall, great product from a trusted name. Can't go wrong with that.

I had a wall display for my variant comics from the same company (BCW), but decided I wanted to take it down in favor of actual artwork. I bought this as a convenient way to store the comics away. This box is well made and held around 12 bagged comics comfortably along with two loose comics. I could probably fit a few more in, but it makes getting the comics in and out tricky. There's also a bonus front pocket that can hold a loose comic if you so choose. The box is about the height of a standard book (I used my fiancee's cookbooks for comparison) and fits well on a bookshelf. Ultimately, this is exactly what I needed to store my comics. I have them placed safely on the same bookshelf as my hardcovers and omnibus books. The more comics you place in here, the trickier it will be to take them out when you want to. However, for safe keeping, this is a wonderful product.

Best thing for taking comics to cons. I take this with me to megacon so i can get my comics autographed. It keeps my books safe the entire time.

Good construction. Fit decent amount of comics. Kinda like a trapper keeper for some comics. You can decorate the outside by slipping something inside the cover. I wish they were like quarter to half an inch wider. 1 or 2 more comics would be nice.

A lot of scuffs and scratches that can’t be remove. Product doesn’t look new. Item was also just packaged in a polymailer bag without any extra protection.

Holds around ten comics nicely. Magnet holds it closed well. Includes slots on front and sides to put labels / art in. Great to bring to the comic store to get your books home safe
