If you are like me and have cheap knives from Walmart in your kitchen, then upgrading to these NANFANG BROTHERS Kitchen Damascus Knife Set will seem like a religious experience. Well, it did for me anyway! They are beautifully made. They feel heavy but balanced in the hand. They cut anything with ease. I had to really practice using these knives because when you are only used to dull, cheap knives, then using these could be dangerous. After taking my time with my first meal cooking with these knives, I am a new convert. I will never use cheap, dull knives in my kitchen again.

These are amazing knives. They are sharp and hold an edge. I was a little worried about the comfort of the grip with the metal handle but it’s completely comfortable even when working on a large meal with lots of chopping. They come packaged in a really nice gift box so would be a nice gift. The only thing that would make this set better would be if they included a sleeve or some kind of protection for the blades when not in use.

This also makes a good gift, as the knives are gorgeous. The one-piece structure, the shiny pimpled handle, the unique etches surface - everything is so pleasing to look at. It's rare I can be in love with the shape and looks of knives, but yes that's what I'm saying. The balance is also very good, making it easy to hold and handle. Finally, they are sharp, and slices and dices through vegetables and meat with ease. With the $20 off coupon, as of January 13, 2022, it makes it even more attractive to get.

The photos and descriptions are fairly deceiving after running a hardness test. I did not come up with the hardness that should be from VG Ten blade. In addition to the fact that Chinese made stamped and polished, and the design that is shown in the photographs is basically painted on.

They rusted on the first wash. Good to look at, not practical.
