Gas Faucet and Cap

No more trying to use pliers to open the lid on a barrel. This tool is made of plastic and is lightweight but definitely durable enough to handle opening the tightest lids. It’s long enough to give you good leverage and has good grip.

I bought a 55 gal. food grade plastic water barrel and this wrench fits it perfectly. It is sturdy and works well. I didn't notice any kind of stripping or rounding but I only had to open the barrel two times. I don't know how long it would last if I had to use it every day but as I said, it meets my needs for an emergency water supply for when we loose our electric due to storms. (No electric means no water since we need electric to pump it up the hill). It is light weight (not like my husbands metal wrenches) and I use the bigger end but there is a smaller end on it too. I don't have anything that fits that end so I can't tell you how well it works.

Works great for opening the barrel plug for my water storage container. The only thing is, I found out after I got it, that I had already gotten one in a package deal.. Kept it anyway. Very strong, sturdy and well made material

When I used the tool to open the top of the barrel, the tool didnt quite flush where it was suppose to be. The tool did do its job of opening the lid even though there was still a small gap between the edges of the tool and where the plus sign indent was. Overall if the tool plus sign was slightly bigger I would give it a 5 star. The plastic handle is hard and sturdy, definitely won't snap if I use it often. There is minor wear on the plus sign after using it to open my first barrel so do keep that in mind. It still did its job of opening the mini lid of a 55gal barrel though so I am satisfied.

You don't need to pay a lot for one of these. I got it for some blue barrels we're using for water storage. I wanted something to open and close the bungs -- a strong, lightweight basic tool like this.It can also be used as a gas-line shutoff wrench. Good price and it does the job.
