I love this feature because I don’t get ants or mice coming to eat his food. I don’t use the hanging feature. Instead, I have it sitting on a small plant holder so it is at my dog’s height. Only downside is that the food doesn’t slide down on its own very well, so I go out every morning and night to lean it forward so the food will slide down and to the front.
