Monarch Pure Hammered Anchoring Basin

This is a very nice rain bowl for the Monarchs Pure Copper Mizoko 8-1/2 foot Rain Chain that I bought. I added some decorative rocks and it all looks and works great. I picked this bowl because it had the added 12 inch chain and I thought I needed it to connect to the rain chain. I had also ordered a 2 foot extension chain and I didn't use the chain on the bowl after all. The online description for the chain with the bowl did not state how long it is so I measured it in order to post the length on here if anyone needs to know that info. Also, the attached chain has small links about 1 inch by 1/2 inch, if that helps.

This is a beautiful basin for the bottom of a rain chain. The quality is exceptionally high. I thought it might be possible to use it as a hanging bird bath, but since it isn't really made for that purpose, it isn't built to hang even. It needs to be placed on the ground or some sort of short stand. It can be set to hold the water from the rain chain, or to gradually release the water from the bottom. It is beautiful when it arrives. Patina will develop over time when it is left outdoors.

Install, all you do is attach it to the rain chain! Please see my attached pictures! I'm so grateful that the company showed this basin, the part that fits into the gutter and the rain chain as a package deal. So, when I found the rain chain I wanted, at the bottom of that page was a complete package of everything I needed to make it look completed. It looks sooo good, my neighbors have given me lots of compliments. The basin is large you can't tell from the picture, it came in a big box, I really was surprised of the size. If I have to put out one negative thing about the basin it will be, there's no drang holes for the rain to run out. Which was an easy fix. My husband put holes in the bottom with his drill.
