This is the original and all you need to make the best mozzarella, ice cream and any recipe requiring rennet. What a score on the price as it's reasonable enough that I think about what else I can make with it. If you have never made cheese and always wanted to, buy this and get to it! You will enjoy it.

I've been using it for making cheese for a while, and it simply works. I crush up as much as I plan on using and add it to cool water and let it sit 15 minutes before I add it to the warmed milk. No problems with it setting up, works fine for mozzarella or cheddar. It's shelf stable and cheap, which makes it better yet.

As a kid back in the 50's Mom made up the ice cream recipe and it was up to us 3 boys to turn the crank on our 3 gallon ice cream freezer.. Wanted to bring back this tradition I remembered so well. Junket tablets were the key. My wife made a batch of ice cream in my 1 gallon freezer and I turned it using ice and rock salt on the 4th of July. Absolutely delicious!!! Easy to use recipes.. Glad I was able to get these tablets on line. Can't find them in the stores anymore..

Good quality and quantity for $. Could use modernization of recipes for fresh mozzarella. Recipes often don’t give clear equivalent of tablet to addition by mL.
