Fit great and great look as well, pretty easy installation, way better flow then factory intake, sounds pretty good as well

As almost all other reviews here state, the instructions aren't very clear however I found a fantastic Youtube step-by-step video that made the whole process super easy. Search for the channel "Our Garage Auto Detail". The sound and performance are definite improvements that I noticed straight away after installing this cold air intake, and I'm yet to see the MPG improvements, however I am testing it and will report back on this review. One note, the silicone hose that goes from breather valve does not fit. I went to Autozone and got a few different sizes of replacement silicone hose and found one that fits perfectly (funnily enough the Autozone inside diameter was supposedly 5/8" which is what the included silicone hose is, so not sure how that works), but my suggestion would be to get a foot of replacement hose. I spent a long time trying to fit in the included silicone hose, even cutting a small nick to open up the end but the replacement hose was much, much easier. Everything else fits as supplied and overall, once everything was put together, the install only took about 30 minutes.

Nice looking intake, definitely see a bit of improvement on power and mpg. Good for the price. Reason for the 4 star rating: The instructions are a bit rough and the pictures are small and in black and white so hard to see. Also on the box assembly there is a extra peice. The instructions don't say anything about that peice. Depending on where your AC lines are located you may have to change out the front side of box to the smaller peice to fit under the AC line(attached photo of it).

I love it,sounds better and adds some power. Put the idle air sensor in the rubber grommet before you clamp it all down. Would be nice if this rubber piece was bigger on one side so it wouldn’t fall in the tube. All in all this product is worth every penny and then some compared with similar products. I personally didn’t have any trouble at all with the instructions , you will have to cut the factory hose about 11” , (utility knife works fine) but I think this is a pretty cheap and easy part to get if one ever wanted to put it all back factory. Like others I do recommend loctite on any screws without lockwashers

I ordered thiAF Intake System on March 5th. When it arrived a week later i discovered upon unpacking that the air filter was damaged. I was able to straighten it out as best as i could and use it since the seller was going to replace it anyway. So i proceeded to do the installation and discovered it was missing screw, filter clamp, a rubber hose that attached to the crankcase vent. So i contacted the seller and they responded with stating that a new kit was ordered and was being sent to me. Today (March 25) i recieved the air intake kit and of course UPS damaged the box. Inspectrd the content and no damage to the merchandise. The seller made good on the product they sell. 5 stars for them. On another note the AF Dynamic cold air intake is awesome..more power, better mileage, good sound. The first kit i recieved was a return item. Thats why it was packaged poorly and missing quite a few items. Again thanks to the seller!!!

Just starting off by saying it's not bad especially for the price. That said , after installing it I drove my ram and it ran fine. Idled fine. But next start up the check engine light would instantly turn on. Tried doing a hard reset and going over my install to see whays going wrong. ( cant remember the exact code) just knew it was an electrical issues. Found the extension they provide for your sensor had no continuity. Opened up the wiring covers. The welding wasn't done right. There was no contact to the pin thus not having continuity and triggering the MIL. Wasy fix but kinda bummer to have to rig your barely bought product. Also the instructions could have been a bit better. It's not the greatest but could've been a but better. I recommend watching a YouTube video. I also feel like I've lost gas mileage 😬 so I'm giving it a hard 3.5/5. If I could do it over I'd just keep my stock air box lol. Really it's just there for looks. I already have it straight piped so the engine sound didn't change for me 🤷‍♂️. Do what you will with that information lol

Well Made, easy install, priced right Great Value. I wanted to update my review. Truck has Magnaflow cat back system. and I initially installed K&N filter on stock system. I did not notice any discernable increase in performance. My best MPG was 19 MPG on open highway from Florida to Texas.. Long stretch ! After installing this cold air system and removing the K&N filter from the stock airbox. I closely monitored overall performance. Here are some of my outcomes. Over all performance has noticeably increased. Now keep in mind this is subjective . its my opinion. But MPG has noticeably increased . around town I am getting 19 MPG or so. On the highway 23 plus. When I say plus 23.8 MPG. I am very pleased with this set up and completely surprised. Also this company's customer is top notch. Great pricing. Great Service.

Per the other reviews, you need to be mechanically inclined to assemble and install this intake as the instructions are worthless. I found a video on how to assemble, which was helpful and another to install in my Ram 1500 which was okay. Don't even bother with the wire harness extender as it doesn't work and you will get a check engine light. I simply spliced the existing and used wire butt connectors with garage dooe safety sensor wires and the check engine light turned off immediately. I also reccomend installing a throttle body spacer as well. That said, the Ram with AFD cold air intake, throttle body spacer and flow master sounds amazing. Feeling a bit more pep when I accelerate but probably won't see any fule efficiency until the novelty wares off...if ever. Historically I have used K&N, which is way easier to install, but like the insulation and heat shield and even though it looks cooler without it, I would use it to ensure coldest air intake. All and all, I am happy with it only gave it a 4 because of the wonky install process and troubleshooting process to get it right.
