HammerHead Metal Rain Shower Head Large 8 Inch High Pressure Rainfall

This is a fantastic shower head. I’ve had it for about a week now, and will never use another shower head again. Installation/Fit/Finish: took about 2 minutes to install and it looks beautiful. The chrome finish is mirror-like and the shower head is easy to adjust. The size does limit the range-of-motion a little, but I found that to be inconsequential. The heft of the product reveals its quality; it feels substantive and very well-made. Performance: this is what I love about this product. The water comes out of the head feeling heavy. It’s not stinging, like tiny high-powered jets. It’s also not harsh. It is heavy; it feels like there’s a lot of water coming at you, and it’s glorious. It feels like being under an actual waterfall, and it’s almost therapeutic in its effect. After I installed it, three other family members used it and commented on how incredible the experience was. Our daughter who was visiting asked me to send her the link to it because she wanted one. I don’t think you can go wrong with this product. Update (almost 2 years later): This shower head is still flawless after nearly 2 years. We’ve used it daily and there has been no degradation in the streams, no blocked jets, no leaks, etc. The silicone nozzles are just as supple and flexible as they were when I installed it. Cleaning takes little more than running a wet cloth over the surface, and it looks like it did on day one. I’ll reiterate what I said before: it would be hard to go wrong with this product. Incredible craftsmanship.

I have a separate rain shower and never used it because it just went everywhere and the pressure was bad if I tried to use both my shower heads. I bought the handheld hammerhead shower head and loved it immediately so I took a chance and bought the 8” rain shower head. Omg! The absolute best showers in my 52 years of life I now have in my own shower!! The water comes out nice and straight so even though it's a rainshowe head and I have higher ceilings and I am very short at 5’1” I love love love it. Powerful and I can run both shower heads with no real noticible water pressure (a little but that's expecting but powerful enough that I never turn one of the heads off) Is it a waste of water? Maybe but you can use the restrictor and even with less water pressure the nozzles make the water just feel different and so good. Maybe but I will just shower every other day if that's a deal because I won't ever go back. Very very well made. You get what you pay for!

Solid as a rock. Lots of little rubber holes to keep clean though. Function is as described. Very good.

Very high quality and excellent water flow. I hate rain shower heads, but this is an exception. I've purchased three other things from this company since, and the quality is amazing

So far I like this showerhead. I wanted something with a simple design that cleaning solution could make thorough contact with. Showerheads with a lot of internal mechanisms trap air bubbles and provide a lot of surface area for microbes. I wish there was a way to get a scrub brush inside the thing, but probably to build enough pressure the chamber inside the disc is very narrow. I've had the thing for a few months now, no warping/leaking. The rubber nub outlets work like they're supposed to to flick off lime build-up, but I soak mine regularly so that's not much of an issue. Will update if this wears out-- I'm wary of the threading on the back with all the unscrewing and reinstallation I do. I also wish there was a little outlet closer to the perimeter of the disc so that it could drain completely between uses. I don't know if there's a technical reason that isn't part of the design.

Great shower head and water pressure. Even spray that is truly like a rainfall.

This large shower head is made of metal and is well constructed, There is just one rainfall flow pattern and it does that very well. It swivels for just the right adjustment. Simple, elegant design!

I followed the instructions. It says to wrap the threads a few times with the teflon tape that came in the box. I used good teflon tape in a roll and not that. The instructions say to finger tighten. I did that and the threads leaked like mad. So, only thing I could was use a pipewrench to crank it down. I kept cranking and cranking until I didn't see a leak every 1 second. Now, I'm worried this is going to fail since the instructions did not help it be leak free. I think it got cranked so tight with a wrench that the gasket will leak in no time. I might as well return it. My old junk chinese rain shower head didn't leak and I will put that back on. It just didn't look good after 10 years. Update: The showerhead will not stay angled. I turn the shower head up, it's attached to a pipe coming from the wall, and the shower head falls back down to the position it wants to be. For this money, I would expect it to hold wherever I put it. Update 2: The Hammerhead company told me that the reason the showerhead is slipping from its position is there is a ring on the back of the showerhead that needs tightened. No instructions in the package on that which I could see. I went back and looked. However, until it fails, I'll give it 4 stars. UPDATE 3: It's been 6 months and no issues so far. We like the showerhead. I'll upgrade to 5 stars.

Excellent - though it should be installed vertical from the ceiling for maximum benefit

This is far better than products 10x the price. I'm serious. I have a fancy Kohler shower head in our other bathroom and it's plastic. I searched high and low for solid stainless shower heads when I was buying the Kohler, couldn't find any. The local bathroom showroom didn't even have any. The sales person reasoned that metal gets too hot. This is obviously an excuse for cheaping out. Never have I been scalded by my shower water, why would the head heat more than the water? This head is just perfect, it even comes with a couple of replacement nozels. The nozels themselves protrude so they are easy to clean when they get calcified. The construction is excellent, the nozels all spray equally and produce lovely soft rain. Like the shower head I am gushing in compliments for this product. I really can't say enough good things about this. Just wish it was available when I bought a crappy plastic head that failed after a year which this now replaces. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

We had a whole new shower system installed on our master bathroom, only to be completely disappointed with the brand name rain shower. It trickled out basically, not at all what we expected or wanted. So I bought the HammerHead Showers All Metal 8 Inch Rainfall Shower Head to replace the other shower head and WOW what a difference!!! We can enjoy our new shower afterall! The ease of installing it, the quality and the water pressure is perfect! Great purchase!

This shower head is tremendous. I see why Home Depot and the big box stores don't sell shower heads anymore. This kind of quality at this price is really unbeatable. Thanks!

Much better than expected. Does not seem to limit flow. With the right neck attached to the wall this made for a nice little upgrade in the bathroom prior to selling the house.
