so going into buying this rug i knew there were a ton of bad reviews but i wanted it anyways because i love the look of it. and let me say it does shed a lot but in my opinion i think its so worth it!! i dont care if i have to vacuum extra because i already have a white dog, but it is SO pretty, makes your house feel more cozy, and is soft to walk on!! the color is perfect, i was scared it would have a yellow undertone but it doesn’t at all. i definitely recommend

I am not sure how this rug got to 4 stars. It should be 000000, seriously. I refuse to give this rug a comfort or softness rating when this is BY FAR the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. It looks great and soft until you roll it out and it SHEDS more than any animal you will ever own! I have never seen anything like it. It doesn’t matter how much you vacuum, the rug clumps and thousands of individual hairs are everywhere!! clothes, people, tables, furniture. It’s horrible! Do yourself a favor and find anything else, trust me!

I read the reviews. I saw the 'Do not buy it sheds' reviews and thought how bad can it be? I mean I clean all of the time.I was wrong! Do Not Buy!The rug is beautiful. It is extremely soft but by the Gods does it shed. Till the point that it gets on everything. I've had people ask me do you have cats?. No, I have a living room rug.I've tried vaccuming. I've tried vaccuming more, vaccuming less. Treating the rug. Spot cleaning, even deep cleaning. Trust.me when I say nothing works. (The rug only clogs up the machines.) Save your self the headache buy a different rug.

I absolutely loved this rug for my sons nursery and thought I could live with the shedding if I vacuumed a lot. It’s just terrible and sadly I had to return it! The shedding isn’t clumps of fuzz, it’s like tiny dog-like hairs. They will be all over your pants from walking on it and if you have small kids, hair will be all over their clothes and toys.

Well made, good quality. Received it in June. Love the color against my wood floors! If you want a high-end look, this is a great choice. This rug does shed, keep your dustbuster handy. This is not a high traffic rug!!!! It's very soft on both sides; excellent for hardwood floors. We put felt padding underneath for cushion. I do see a possible problem with cleaning....it is a yarn material therfore, spot cleaning probably won't do it justice. I don't know that for certain though. We liked this area carpet so much that we bought another, same size for the master and a 2'6" x 8' runner. Good value for the money for now. We'll have to see how it holds up month to month.

This rug is better than pictured. If you like the look of high-end retail wool rugs that are very expensive, you will love this one. The quality is the same and the overall look is better in my opinion. I love this rug so much, I can't stop looking at it. It is exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I didn't splurge on more expensive options. I may order another for my living room too.The quality is great and hasn't shed. As soon as I laid it down there were no wrinkles or lifting.

I can not speak more about this rug. The shedding is a pain, however I used my handheld vacuum wand and vacuumed the back side very thoroughly AND used a fabric shaver on the front. Doing both of those have eliminated white fluffy on my pants significantly. As for now (6hrs) post delivery I’m not seeing shedding.Regardless of the shredding, this rug warms up my hard floors and to me; provides a warm and inviting sitting area. I love the feel and thickness of this rug. I was going to use a rug pad, however, I ended up returning it as it didn’t seem necessary.Over all this rug was a total score not only by looks but by price as well.

This definitely wasn’t one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I was replacing my off-white wool rugs and thought these would be a nice addition to my farm house style decor. I purchased two. While the rugs look nice from a distance and really soften up the room, they don’t look nice close up. The wool is now matted and has stringers, especially in high traffic areas like in front of the couch (see photos). I’m sure having kids doesn’t help. Also, dirt and debris gets stuck in between the weaves, making it impossible to get out unless you use a spinning brush vacuum or a handheld wand (but who has time to go over the entire carpet with a wand). Also, something else I didn’t think of was how am I going to clean it. With all of my past wool rugs, I would use a Bissell carpet shampooer vacuum, but since you aren’t supposed to use a spinning brush, I don’t think that will work. Very disappointed every time I look at them unless I’m across the room.

Sheds a lot and have to be careful of debris and dirt not getting caught in the woven areas. I’ve had to vacuum it on low otherwise all of the wool gets stuck in the vacuum filter and clogs.
