Big Green Egg GENIUS

This is my second cook with the egg genius and it is amazing! First cook was pork ribs at 225 and egg genius kept the pit temp right where I wanted it! Kids said they were the best ribs ever! Second cook is in process 11lb pork butt. Going to be awhile but the egg genius is keeping the pit temp right where I want it 225. Initially It took a couple of try’s to get connected to wifi but nothing unusual. Just followed the instructions. Can’t recommend it enough. Allows me to do other things rather than baby sit the cooking.

This thing is wonderful. Holds the temperature perfectly. I did a 20-hour brisket at 225 degrees the only reason to open the egg was to add smoke chips. Well worth the price, super simple to use with the app. I used the earlier version of the controller and loved it but this one is better! Super easy set up. very small and light but looks to be durable. I have a suggestion for BGE, have a charcoal starting mode.

Impossible to connect and customer service does not answer the phone or call you back. I rate this product a zero out of 10; however, I love the big green egg itself, and I am quite disappointed with this item.

This product is pure junk !!! Yes I read the reviews, and arrogantly thought "I'm sure these people just aren't very computer smart " WRONG !!!! PARK your modem , phone and egg genius within 3 ft of each other and it might work for part of the cook , but sketchy at best . The picture posted is the pit prove after a 270 degree smoke . Can't imagine what cooking temp would've done to it ? Another 400 buck donation to the Hartland Landfill . WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT !

The is an absolute game changer. I have been smoking meat on my Green Egg for over a decade. Moving from a backyard hobby to catering parties. This device allows me to get my meat on the egg and keep up with it while prepping other food and running errands. I wish I had bought this years ago. I would like to see a sturdier gasket arrangement to secure the fan into the air intake on the egg. Also, an additional meat probe would be helpful to track meat temp on more than one butt or brisket at the same time.
