Not Happy!!!
It broke after one month and will not turn the brush. Very disappointed as I was the with the floor brush that came with the Dyson. The vacuum works well as long as you do not use the carpet brush.

Expensive and does not suction on hardwood floors like my old one did. When you press the button for hardwood, it loses suction completely.

3-stars for Dysons overpriced replacement you should not have to purchase two years later for a little piece of cheap rubber....
3 Stars because Dyson should have better quality in the first place so you don't have to purchase a replacement... but If you have to get one, then this is the spin brush which, (when it works) is excellent. Such a Shame, however, to "have to" purchase this. (not a good reflection on Dyson!) In my case the original breakdown was from a little rubber flap. It is right at the air intake - behind the brush roll - just in front of the "vacuum pipe" gave it up, and the spin brush stopped working. That little piece of irreplaceable rubber is responsible for the roller spinning in some way, as it is to 'bend back' in some fashion. Once I figured that out, I tried electric tape to try and recreate the same effect, and for a while to get it to spin, which it did for a bit, but that was tedious. The flap should not have just given up like that !! so to have to purchase the entire expensive part is never a good sign. All because of a pennies worth of rubber. Very dissapointed with Dyson for this, nice way to bolster profits, have a hugely overpriced part for when your poorly made product gives up.

Vaccums very well
Exelent part; It arrived before expected. It is a shame that I had to replace it. I wish it would have lasted longer. It is not cheap

New head make my Dyson work like new. It's just too bad that these units can't be serviced.
