Universal Forest 1334 1"x2"x12" Grading Stakes (bundle of 24)

Not much to say about this product. The wood is good quality - no splits or knots and they were easy to drive into the dirt to hold corrugated metal edging in place.

I got these (I really only needed one or two) to stabilize a wooden gate post. The hole for the 4x4 post had wallowed out and I used two against the side of the post to take up the slack. It worked well for my purposes. This was only a lightweight yard gate (4'x4') for pedestrian use. I would have gotten cement if it would have been for a heavy gate. I also have used a couple as risers under a couch to level it. They worked perfectly. I would buy these again

Sturdy and reusuable

Good stakes. Had some vampires roaming and used these to dispatch em. No more vampires. Sturdy and easy to use. Good to use on staking chicken wire up too to keep small dogs from going under fencing too. Good idea to always have wood stakes..never know what you'll need them for. Thanks.

Highly recommended-easy to use-great quality. Can probably be re-used they’re that sturdy. Not at all splintery and was easy to pound into damp soil with a rubber mallet.

I bought these to use as garden markers. Love. Thick, sturdy and right length. Hope to use over more than a couple seasons.

I used the stakes for marking garden rows in my vegetable garden, marking individual stakes red, blue, green in accord with the garden system of Franke. I had no problem hammering them into the soil and they are less noticeable and obtrusive than the long, 3 or 4 foot stakes I used before. There were two bad ones in the lot, really shabby ones, not just knotholes, but not cut right. That is my one main complaint. Yes, some were not smoothly planed, but for my garden use they worked fine. Ordering one more set since those sizes are hard to find locally. Only 3 stars because of the 2 really bad ones and the rough surface of many of the others.

The stakes are strong and sturdy
