Sturdy. I have painted a picture on canvas for my son. He lives at a distance and has to carry it on the plane back from his visit with me. I want to roll it up with a small frame and this tube is big enough for that and it won't get damaged on his trip back home

I haven't had this for too long yet, but so far it's survived several trips back and forth to life drawing class. I have gone to nearly every art store in the city looking for a drafting tube to carry paper that I can wear over my shoulder. It seems like a simple concept but I went through 3 tubes and each one broke rendering it useless. So far this one is solid and hasn't broken, so even though it's pricey I'm hoping it was worth it. Time will tell.
