SOONSUN ND Filter Kit for GoPro Hero 5/6/7 Black, 4-Pack (ND8, ND16, ND32, CPL), Multi-Coated Optical Glass Neutral Density & Polarizer Lens Filter with Storage Case

I use these for running a fixed shutter speed (1/120 for 60 FPS) on my GoPro for motorcycle riding. That enables the camera to capture a bit of natural motion blur. This makes the footage look more natural to the viewer since the camera would normally record a level of detail that a human eye wouldn't maintain while in motion. Slower shutter speeds increase the time the camera's sensor is exposed to light (exposure), which increases image brightness and can wash out the image. These filters compensate for that increased exposure by reducing the light that goes into the camera's sensor. It's sort of like putting a pair of sunglasses on after your pupils have been dilated at the optometrist's office. The filters are all of a good quality and the included lens cloth is useful for keeping dust off them. They come with a hard case with cutouts for each filter to sit in. They fit very securely on my GoPro Hero 7 Black. The set comes with lanyards to secure them to your camera but I have not felt the need to use them despite taking these trail riding on a camera mounted to my helmet. The ND16 filter is great for use during clear days. The ND8 filter is for use during dawn/dusk conditions or overcast days. The ND32 filter is a bit too dark for regular daylight with clear skies but would be good for uses where the sun is reflecting off something towards you, like snowy environments or out on the water. I haven't found too much use for the CPL filter yet but that is supposed to help reduce glare, however it doesn't provide light filtering. Overall I'm really impressed with this filter set. They work great, fit great and the case they come with is really well done.

I have ordered these for my gopro hero 7 black, and all I can say is that they work amazing! In the video, I use the nd8 filter, and the motion blur is nice, while still keeping most of the image stabilization, they fit snug on the lense, and I don't need to worry about them falling off. I highly recommend these👍

I put these on my GoPro Hero 7 when flying fpv. I've had multiple minor crashes without loosing the filter or breaking them. I'm sure they wouldn't hold up in a hard crash. They pressure fit on and seem to hold just fine. They've never come off during flight and light crashes.

Definitely worth the investment if you record on bright sunny days or have a helmet mounted Gopro. Safety tethers for the camera and carrying case too.

Good filter

Advertised as CPL, which typically refers to the ability of the lens to rotate. However, only a polarizing filter, as the lens filter does not rotate in any way.

Nice product, allows lower shutter speeds for motion blur in bright conditions. The press fit is nice.

Die Filter passen perfekt. Leider wurde die Kunststoffbox nur in einer amazon-Papiertüte verschickt und kam zerbrochen bei mir an. Jetzt habe ich keine Aufbewahrungsbox mehr, was ich schade finde (daher 1 Stern Abzug). Ich könnte vermutlich alles umtauschen, aber das möchte ich nicht, weil es mir zu viel Aufwand und auch nicht nachhaltig ist.

Los filtros cumplen su función. No estoy seguro de cuánto me gusta la idea del diseño slip-on sin embargo. ¿Creo que en algún momento se aflojarán y quedarán inutilizables? Ya veremos... El precio es más alto que los mismos filtros para las nuevas generaciones de go-pros. No entiendo por qué. Cuestan unos 10 euros cada uno (40 euros en total), y sólo necesitaré uno de ellos. Mi pedido tardó 6 semanas en llegar, y me pregunto si el dueño de la tienda fue hasta mi casa y me los entregó. Aún no los he probado porque el verano ya ha terminado. Ya os contaré el año que viene. En general, no soy un cliente especialmente satisfecho, pero no hay competencia, ya que no pude encontrar nada más en ningún otro sitio.
