What is the scale sizing system?

The scale indicates the size of a die-cast model relative to the real vehicle. For example, a 1:87 (HO) scale model is 87 times smaller than the actual vehicle.

Are these toys or collectibles?

These are collectible models intended for adult collectors and are ideal for dioramas or displays.

Are these really made of diecast metal?

Yes. Each machine is crafted almost entirely from solid diecast metal, with a few plastic components used exclusively to maintain the durability and fine detail of the smallest parts.

Are these officially licensed models?

Yes. Any of our models that have the Cat or Progress Rail logos are officially licensed Caterpillar products.

What scales are available in this series?

HO Series models are available in the 1:87 HO scale.
