Review: Good low budget head unit with one glaring flaw! - The touch screen is great and the interface is very natural feeling and easy to navigate, for a low budget brand name its a very acceptable head unit with pre outs for front, rear and sub, BUT there is no way to adjust the High Pass, this is a big deal if you just want to use the head units power for the speakers but want to protect the speakers from excessive low end which can damage the speakers and use up valuable wattage, and often you need to set the High Pass higher like 120hz to protect the main speakers and have the sub set to 80hz or 100hz for best sound quality. The Good: Great touch screen and very intuitive to navigate the interface, Bluetooth sound quality is very good considering its inherent loses due to data compression. Also has a nice EQ built in and does have sub volume control. There is a SWC control option and unit is very responsive to the touch and seems to have a CPU that is not being overworked. Looks great in the dash. The Bad: While the head unit does have Sub volume adjustments the unit is lacking High Pass adjustments for proper Sub setup and protection of the main speakers... this is a BIG deal IMHO. Also Apple Car Play and Android Car Play must use the wired connection which is only available on the back of the unit.
Review: Recommend highly - Had to repurchase this radio, because last one list sound after 2 months. Never had problem with jensen media's. So far so good. Easy to instal

**Q: Does it has a option for steering wheel control?**
A: Yes

**Q: Does this have a remote ?**
A: It’s been a while, but I do not believe there is a remote.
The unit is within arms reach though. In most vehicles

**Q: Can i retain steering wheel controls? if so what adapter is needed for 2003 gm with bose?**
A: According to the Jensen info on this model, its "built-in SWC Interface is compatible with 3rd party steering wheel control modules. Either the PAC SWI series or Axxess ASWC-1 are recommended. These adapters must
be used in order for the J1CA7 to be compatible with any steering wheel controls." Best to look for radios that are  Maestro compliant. I use a  Maestro ADS-MRR, which supports all major car brands. Lets you connect to CAN bus for other OE auto features and onboard information.

**Q: Will this Stereo work with OEM Back Up Camera?**
A: I dont think so. I'm not a pro
