Works well for mold-making, but make sure this is the right product
I used this for mold-making and it works quite well. Platinum cure silicones (like this) make really excellent, flexible, durable molds. Way better quality than tin cure silicones. But! you should be aware of a few issues with platinum cure silicones in general. The first is the viscosity tends to be quite low. This means you don't have to degas the resin, which is great as bubbles will float to the top, and it also means you get incredible detail on the mold. But it also means that if you have any small pinholes or fissures in the mold it will leak out, so you have to be quite careful about sealing it up. The second is that a variety of materials can poison the platinum catalyst. The big one is epoxies; resin prints (epoxy based) for example will poison the catalyst and the resin will never cure. But there are a bunch of things that will poison the catalyst. Check very carefully before you use this product because if you try to mold something that poisons the catalyst, the resin will never cure and you will have a gloppy mess that will likely ruin your mold. As long as you look out for these two gotchas this product works absolutely great. If you can't use platinum cure for one of the above reasons, tin-cure silicones are an alternative, but personally I only recommend tin-cure if there's a reason you can't use platinum cure. It used to be that tin-cure was cheaper but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore so platinum cure is just better all-around.

Great stuff with excellent results
Very pricey but the best I’ve ever used. I am a fan of the seller/manufacturer for many years Being both a mold and candle maker their products offer me great quality and flexibility. Mold quality offers no fluctuations but is consistent in its outcomes. Resin and mold making is not a cheap hobby so there are no do overs.

Awesome Product!
Used this material to make a mold. The mold was a glass plate on the bottom and carved wood sides. The material was mixed and poured into the mold. It cured overnight at room temperature. The cured silicone removal was easy and clean with no air bubbles. Worked like a charm.

Make sure you mix well!
Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you, “this is some great stuff!” Just make sure you use two equal ratio and “mix well.”Safe to use color powder Mica or ink resin paint. Paint came off since I did not “mix well” the first time, and did not cure well on the top part of the mould. I know next time, I’ll have a better experience. Just be patient and mix well. Thank you

My thoughts.
The first thing that comes to mind here is that I don't understand why it's so expensive. They arrived well-sealed but the bottles were dented in. I placed it in a vacuum for what seemed to be a lot longer than what I should have and still it had bubbles.

Cheaper then to others and more of it.
I love this product it has allowed me to make my bigger molds. I do have to let it sit longer then normal but well worth it. Still waiting for it to dry. I tried to purchase other kinds but I was always short. If u add up the cost for what u have to spend on 3 of the others u still save $20 was is awesome right now on a tight budget. The molds I am making I couldn't get anywhere else. It's so easy to use and it's not so think that u can't pour easily. Very happy.

Great Stuff!
So far, so good. Tried mixing in acrylic paint to see if it would affect the cure quality - no issues whatsoever. High quality and basically odorless.

Will NEVER Buy It AGAIN!!!!
Measuring was easy, mixing was easy, even pouring it wasn't the problem. I have been making casting molds for many years and have never had problems with bubbles, or having a product take almost 3 days to set. Finally when you think that it is totally set after the 3 days trying to remove the item that I cast was not going to happen, then when I think I finally have one of the items out, I was in total shock to find that there was a huge river (that's what I refer to it as) of uncured goo in the cavity of it. It was so not worth the money I paid for this. I would have expected better performance from a higher quality product and for the price, Buyer Beware on this one. Even if they called me tomorrow and wanted to replace the ones that I just used, you could not pay me enough to use this item again!!!!!!! RUN
