Square36 10'x6' Large Exercise Mat

I didn't originally buy this mat. I bought a mat through a different company that had a few thousand highly rated reviews and when I received it, I decided it was just a little too small for 2 people at 8'x6'. I purchased the next size up through prime and it said it would be here in the normal 2-3 days. After the 4th day, they had pushed out delivery by 3 weeks! So I got back on amazon and searched for comparable items. This mat came up, with not too many reviews, so I was skeptical. However, this mat DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It was actually a little easier on the joints than the previous one. It doesn't slide around. It looks nice. This mat was the same thickness and size, but it was also $50 cheaper! I was so impressed. Now that my sister and I have been using it every day for 6 weeks or so to do HIIT workouts with our tennis shoes, I can definitely attest to its durability. This mat is perfect! Good work by the company! Very pleased. Would definitely recommend. :)

**Update** The Insanity program is working wonderfully on this mat. No knee or ankle pain. I'm very impressed with how much of a difference this mat makes. I put it right over the top of the concrete floor in the garage. I see no need for any additional padding underneath. I'm doing other plyo and core routines and it works well. My daughter has used it for her crossfit workouts when she's home on random weekends from college. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.**Original review**I was looking for a good mat to put over concrete garage floors so I can do Insanity and P90x etc. it was between this may and the Pogamat. Both fit the bill for what I was looking for. Designed for lateral moves and plyometrics, doesn't stink, made by a small co many with a reputation for service. In the end this mat won out for its size.It's perfect and exactly as described. Rolled out flat quickly and best of all there is zero smell. My lungs don't need all of this harmful chemicals. It feels great right over the garage concrete floor. Will update the review after the full 9week Insanity program. So far I'm very pleased!

This mat is perfect! We are Beachbody coaches and workout in our home daily. We have had the workout mats from Costco that fit together like puzzle pieces and always end up replacing them, sliding on them, pulling them apart when doing cardio routines, and our dogs have been known to chew on the pieces as well! We finally threw those away and decided to try this mat out. So glad we did! It has been amazing. It doesn't slip at all on our hardwood floor. It's easy to roll right up if we need to get it out of the way or move it to another location. It has been super easy to clean-vacuum off, then use a mild soap (or we use Norwex towels and hot water). It gives enough support for hard insanity workouts and enough room for 2 of us to workout together. It does get a bit slippery when sweaty(as does any surface), so we put a towel or yoga mat down if we need to do planks near the end of a workout. We move every few years and I'm glad we finally found a mat we can take with us! We will probably be buying another one to add to the space we have as well. Very happy with this mat!

I rarely ever leave reviews but felt I had to with this product. This mat is everything I hoped it would be and more. It is absolutely perfect. It works great for all of my workouts.I love everything about it. Even the satisfying "thud" sound it makes when dropping my dumbbells on it. I do recommend gloves though especially if you're doing floor workouts and you sweat like I do! I found out the hard way that this mat is very slippery when wet on bare hands. But it's still great and I actually look forward to my workouts now just so I can lay in a pool of my own sweat on this comfy mat when I'm done. Not slippery with shoes though at all. I can't recommend it enough. I have it laying straight on a concrete floor in my garage with no additional padding and it's perfectly fine. I am looking at buying another one of these to expand my gym and replacing some other inferior mats that I bought previously. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone.

Ultimately, I like this product. So much so that I bought three to cover the whole gym room that I made. But I only give 5 stars if something is absolutely perfect in all respects and, for the thickness of this item, I feel that it’s a tad pricey. Other than that though, it’s a great product and even gets sent on a large back so you can roll it up and store it away if you need to.

Love it! I've had this for over 3 months and it's perfect for me! I use it on bare concrete for cardio, yoga, weights, you name it. I was worried it wouldn't be thick enough to provide adequate shock protection but the technology in this mat is awesome! The large size is great for doing side to side work. There is ample room for two people to work out on the mat which was a big win for me! I usually leave it out since I use it everyday but occasionally I've wanted it out of the way and I simply roll it up and move it to the side. It is heavy of course but I can easily carry it. It does collect debris like crazy and I don't have a great way to clean it yet. I use a swifter, not ideal but gets the job done.

I used foam interlocking tiles for years and was always unhappy that they would pull apart during exercise. I am very satisfied with having one large mat for lifting, cardio, and plyo. The cushioning works great for me. It absorbs more impact than expected given its thickness. I do top it with a yoga mat when I do yoga. There’s not quite enough grip to do yoga without a second mat. Depending on where the mat is being used, it will require sweeping/swiffering/vacuuming. This hasn’t bothered me. I was so happy to find a large mat at a good value without paying for the horse stall mats or Olympic lifting mats that are heavier and much more expensive.
