No because if you paint them they will get hard and reflect the sound instead of absorbing it.

Hello, did not receive installation instructions with my 6 pack order. Have the hardware; what is the best way to get install instructions?

I lucked out as professional installers were in my office for something else and I paid them to install. No instructions with mine either. From what I saw one bracket needs to be attached to the back of the mat and the other to the wall. They are cleats that interconnect. Not very easy to install.

Are the fibers contained so they will not be released into the breathable air?
