Learning Advantage Magnetic Dry Erase Protractor, Geometry Measurement Tool

These geometry teaching tools were super helpful this year, particularly the protractor. The triangles have smaller triangle cutouts that can be traced onto the whiteboard which is useful when you need a smaller triangle. The tools are a bit larger than I imagined; almost too large. The 4 I ordered take up most of an entire 3x4’ whiteboard when not in use. The quality on these is good. They are sturdy and I like the big handles. Regarding the magnets, mine give me no issues at all. The magnets are just right. However I received an extra ruler and triangle and gave them to a teacher friend down the hall. The ruler magnetizes to her whiteboard just fine, but the triangle slides off. The triangle I gave her is ever so slightly concave from sitting in my vehicle for several weeks, and that may be why. I give these 5 stars and definitely recommend them to all my teacher friends.

Easy to use in front of the class. You need this if you're going to teach angles on a white board. Work perfect.

I needed a large protractor to teach angles in my classroom. This one works great. The magnets keep it in place very well. It is not flimsy like the first one that I tried for this. Only thing that I wish was that it had a better visual indicator of where the center point is but overall it does the job.

I bought this for a project at work three months ago but never used it. However, my kids are using it every day! It is really nice. The magnet holds it on the white board, but the handle make moving it or sliding it on the white board easy. It's great to measure or draw lines. I was not compensated in any way for this review and paid full price for this.

Added an extra magnet to make it not slide down the board. Works perfect! A good tool to teach my students this new concept.

This magnetic protractor is large (about 15" x 7.5") - a bit larger than I expected, but very visible to students. I really like the quality (it's slightly bendable but thick), the numbers and markings are easily readable, and there are several large magnets on the backside - so no concern about it slipping on the white board. It stays in place nicely. Overall, I think it was worth the money spent and would recommend it.
