2 Year Review :O)
Review Update: 12/20/2024 Just Ordered Another One! Unfortunately I Can't Find The 9.5 Extension Cable Anywhere! (SOLD OUT) Important: This Item Says It Has A High Return Rate! So After Reading The Negative Reviews People Are Expecting This To Restore Their Dead Batteries? One Guy Says It Won't Hold A Charge! Ya! The Battery Has A Bad Cell And The Battery Needs To Be Replaced! Battery Tenders Tend Good Batteries, They Don't Hold A Charge! Once The Battery Has Reached The End Of Its Life You Need To Replace It! If You Let Your Battery Go Dead And Jump The Battery You Are Killing The Battery And Shortening It's Life Considerably So These Tenders Gently Keep Your Battery TENDED. The CTEK Chargers Work Great Too But This HULKMAN Is The Best And 1/3rd The Cost! I Have 4 Now For Snow blowers, Generators, Cars, Lawn Tractors Etc. Working Awesome for 2 Years! The Only Hulkman Negative Is The AC Side Cable Is Long But The DC Side Is Short So How Could You Mount The Charger To The Wall (BUY THE 9.5ft EXTENSION CABLE) $19.95 But (SOLD OUT) Original Review: This HULKMAN Has Got To be the Best Maintainer Available for the Money! The Quality is Just Superb in Every Way, The Read Out Not Being Just Little Lights and a Full Display is Amazing and Comes With a Great Bracket, Quality Clips ETC. I Bought 4 of The CTEC Units and they have been Great too but More Cash and No Brackets with only little led lights. This Started After All my Delran Tenders began Shorting out & destroying all My Batteries Each Time they Went. The Little Delran JR's Still Work Good and have had no Problems so Delran will be sure to Fix That like they did with all the Plus Units (JUNK) I Would Only Ask That HULKMAN Makes an Adaptor to go from the Delran Connector To The Hulkman Style because I have Tons Of the Extensions From The Delran junk that I can't use and CTEC Makes The Adaptors But Otherwise I would Have Rathered All Hulkman Units For The Quality and DISPLAY and Features. It Even Beeps When You Connect It to Let you know Your Connected AWESOME Stuff at a Great Price. I Just Bought This Second Unit and This Review Is For the One I Got over 1.5 years ago Working Flawlessly.

Solid and intuitive charger that works
I also own a Noco Genius 5 charger that I thought was the bomb when it came to battery charging. Until it met the Costco interstate battery in a 2000 Subaru Forester. To be fair the Forester has a phantom leak that I have been too lazy to diagnose (it’s a 25 year old car, so not the daily driver), but the Noco could not maintain a charge on the battery when it was charged, and definitely not when it drained down (because the Noco shut off). I tried all the various settings to the Noco to get it recharged, but no luck. Reading the reviews on the Hulkman, I was skeptical but figured it was worth a try. At first the battery still wouldn’t charge, but after a few goes at the repair function, the Hulkman rescued the battery and still continues to keep it charged, unlike the Noco. Maybe it’s user error, but the Hulkman has me sold. I should also note that using it is much more intuitive than the Noco. Probably user error again, but I really don’t need to refer to the manual for the Hulkman. Highly recommended.

As Advertised = Good Product
Received the Hulkman Sigma 5 today. First impressions - Well Packaged. After you register the charger on the Hulkman website you get an extra year added on the 2 year warranty ! Good Quality housing and cords. Hulkman is using 14 awg wire with good solid insulation. My Ctek 7002 uses 18 awg wire for the load side going to the car battery. The Sigma is all automatic. You don't have to remember the stages of the charging cycles or what each charging cycle means in the charging process. If you have the sigma 5 mounted under the hood and just want to plug in the ac to the charger with the power cord exposed from the front of the vehicle, it remembers what charging program you used before and automatically starts it's charge cycle per it's own algorithms. There is no manual intervention needed after plugging the charger into AC. It's truly a connect and forget charger. My Ctek 7002 has the same capability. My Ctek 7002 is a great charger. The sigma 5 is trailing right behind the Ctek 7002. The Ctek 7002 is $129.99 and 7 amps. The Hulkman is 5 amps and was on sale for $47.00 and now its back up to $69.99 and it comes with a good copper clamps set and an eyelet connector set just like Ctek 7002. The Sigma 5 directions are simple and straight forward. It also came with a wall bracket and screws. Ctek 7002 did not come with a mounting bracket The Hulkman does not show the actual stages of the charge cycle like the Ctek 7002. The Sigma 5 has an icon of a battery with indicators stating how full the battery is while charging. The Sigma 5 has a large display of the actual Battery voltage which I like. I have not used the recondition cycle yet so I will update this review after I do so. I recommend this charger for the batteries it will accommodate as stated in the description on Amazon.

Good Upgrade from Standard Battery Tender brand
The best battery tender! Have left it connected for weeks and it has maintained and charged the battery well. I haven't noticed any issues to report here. No over charging, and has maintained its number perfectly. It's my go to and a wonderful upgrade over the battery tender brand. It's a good purchase and good value
