Love these things. I even use them for things they weren't really designed for. Good quality and can take some abuse. Just wish they were easier to find when I need them.... Lol

The price is right. Good product.

I mistakenly bought these pliers hoping they would allow me to to remove and replace a snap ring on my lathe. The ring seemed not to have the two holes I expected. That was a mistake. The holes were simply filled with black grease. I tried to put the tps of the pliers in the slot of the snap ring,, but they were too thick. I ground the tips down with my Dremel and successfully completed the job. These pliers seem well made and I do not fault them. I give the only 4 out of 5 stars to warn others to make sure they are the right tool for the job.

My husband has all these snap ring pliers, but this one is made especially for transmissions. It has grooves on the end and he was able to put the snap ring on in 2 seconds. Before this pair. He tried for 30 minutes to get the snap ring on and gave up. This pair worked like a charm. Highly recommended.

Super handy so far

These pliers work well for what they were designed to do. I did modify mine to help with a difficult snap ring way down in the transmission. They're reasonably priced the grips don't come off. It is the size I was expecting.
