Solar Panel Exhaust Fan, Ventilation Extractor with Anti-backflow Check Valve Chain Switch,10W 16Ft Cable for Greenhouses, Pet Houses, Small Chicken Coops, Sheds, Window Exhaust

I installed this fan on my 8x8 chicken coop, it instantly lowered the coop temperature and kept the air moving. I'm in Florida and it's important to keep the coop as cool as possible. Straight out of the box, it runs...and it's easy to install. One downfall is that it stops when there's cloud cover or no direct sun...but I knew that going into it, as it doesn't have a battery to store energy. My fan worked great for almost six months, then it just quit. The connections are secure and the solar panel is clean. I'm waiting to see if SoulVolve honors their 3-year warranty. If they do, I'll update my review and raise my rating to 5 stars. It really is a good fan...as long as you can get more than six months out of it. UPDATE 3.9.2023: SoulVolve responded to the warranty issue right away. They sent a replacement fan without delay...easy peasy. This company is one of the easiest to work with...they were receptive and honored the warranty. Also, they said they were working on developing a solar-powered fan with an internal battery later this year...to help the fan work in cloudy weather or after the sun goes down. I'll order one as soon as it hits the market. I'm a customer for life...they have a great product and are responsive to their customers, what more could one ask for?

Expected this to go out after a few months based on prior experiences with solar powered fans, but it is still working as it did the day purchased.

The fan was working great then it broke after a short time. The company does stand by their warranty. They are sending me a new one. Will update my review after I receive the new one.

Bought this for my chicken coop as it is a metal shed and so hot. It was easy to install by simply cutting a circular hole in the wall. It cools it down with wind flow about 5 to 10 degrees. A must have for every coop. Good stuff.

Everything in box looks to be ok and in working order however, 1 problem i noticed right away is that the brackets to hold solar panel, which are needed as there is no way to mount flat down, are a full inch bigger than the panels. The brackets need to be bent or alot of washers used as spacers must be used to make up the size difference. I will cut and reweld the brackets. More work than i expected before i can even install. Another issue was the way panels were packaged. Panels facing down in the box with tissue paper between panel and cardboard. Im surprised the panels did not crack being basically the bottom of the package during shipping. Surprising due to the large gash out of the corner of the box the panels were shipped in. Other than the extra work of re-sizing the brackets so there is a good fit to panels, these look to be decent solar powered fans for the price. ***edit*** Great customer service After posting this review, the seller reached out to me to ask if anything can be done to correct the issue. Fortunately i have the tools and skills to have made the supplied bracket smaller so it didnt flex when attaching the panel to it. Looks much neater than original bracket. The seller also assured me that the brackets have been made to fit better but there are still products in the Amazon warehouse with the bigger sized brackets in them and once they are sold, the newer brackets will come with the order. I have also installed the fans i ordered and they work great. Good air flow and even spun during a rainstorm. Not very fast but they are true solar panels and can run even in subpar sunlight.

This is the second unit I have purchased from this company. The first one was good. The second one has an issue. It has excessive end play in the motor. When the fan is in its normal installed position (fan facing down), the fan blades hit the grille. If you remove it and turn it over (fan facing up) the shaft moves away from the grille and the noise goes away. Amazon customer service has been no help (I could write a book on how terrible their customer service procedures are). They told me they would send me a link to contact Soulvolve via email because they didn’t have a phone number for them. The link they sent took me right back to their customer service website. Totally useless. All that I wan is a replacement for the defective fan unit.

I installed these in my shed a year ago. They are very nice little units. All the parts are there for a flexible install. Very easy and clean. Unfortunately they don't provide quite enough air movement to keep the shed cool, but they help a bit. One of them stopped working. The fan which has a 3 year warranty won't run any more and I'd like to get it exchanged. Where is the number to call? Who do I contact? The website is down. Help! **EDIT** I did find the email address: [email protected] and they responded lickety-split! Said they are sending me out a new fan right away. I'll update this review when I get it. I'm very hopeful. The communication was very friendly and prompt!

Easy enough to install on a lazy evening. The hardware is pretty good quality. Cable is long enough to set up the solar panel how ever your like. I do recommend mend caulking around the out side of the metal housing for better weatherproofing. Good price, good quality, fast delivery.

Lo acaban de instalar y funciona tal cual la descripcion, incluso comienza su funcionamiento sin que esté completamente visible el sol. Espero de la suficiente ventilación. Todavía no he podido valorar la eficiencia. Se recibió en tiempo y en buen estado.

The Product was recieved but failed to run the fan..

On collection package was severally damaged, post office operator took photos. Upon opening package, bracket for solar panel bent out of shape. Automatic back flow flap doesn’t work / close properly
